Hot car deal: affordable Suzuki Swift supermini from just £159 per month
Our hot car deal for April 8th is the fun-to-drive Suzuki Swift mild-hybrid; with 0% APR and available from just £159 per month
Now in its fourth generation, the Suzuki Swift has quietly gone about its business over the years, building a loyal customer base that values its smart styling, low running costs and ability to deliver an engaging drive.
The latest five-door supermini continues to offer something a little different in a competitive market dominated by the likes of the more mainstream Renault Clio, Vauxhall Corsa and Volkswagen Polo, although the Swift’s generous levels of standard kit and fuel-efficient mild hybrid engine mean that it offers good value for money.
What’s so good about this Suzuki Swift deal?
This 0% APR deal comes straight from the manufacturer and is part of a series of PCP finance offers applied across the Swift range. It lets you cover up to 8,000 miles a year with a customer deposit of £4,189 required upfront, followed by monthly payments of £159. After the agreement ends you can choose to either return the car, pay the optional final payment of £11,944, or enter into a part-exchange – so there’s plenty of flexibility.
With Suzuki offering just two trim levels for the Swift – Motion and Ultra – there isn’t really a typical entry-level specification, which means this particular Motion model comes loaded with kit, including 16-inch alloys, LED headlights, adaptive cruise control, rear parking sensors, a rear-view camera, keyless entry and start, heated front seats and a nine-inch infotainment display with integrated sat-nav and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.
Power comes from a 1.2-litre, three-cylinder petrol engine, producing 81bhp via a CVT automatic ‘box. 0-62mph takes 11.9 seconds, while Suzuki claims you should be able to manage up to 60.1mpg across a mixture of roads
What’s so good about the Suzuki Swift?
Although not one of the main hitters in the supermini segment, the new Suzuki Swift is a focused proposition. Trading largely on its value for money, it offers an interesting blend of generous standard kit, efficient mild-hybrid tech and solid fuel economy to put it in the reckoning if you’re after a sensible small car.
