Best-selling Tesla Model Y for £399 a month: Hot car deal

Our hot car deal for April 25th is the exceptional Tesla Model Y for £399 a month

Tesla Model Y dynamic

The Tesla Model Y is simply one of the most capable EVs currently on sale. It finished 2023 as the best-selling EV in the UK, which shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise given its practical and reliable range, fast charging capability, spacious interior and user-friendly on-board technology. Factor in the impressive Tesla Supercharger network and the Model Y really should be an effortless car to own, whether you’re driving mainly in town or having to undertake regular longer trips. It’s a really practical all-electric family car and one we rate particularly highly.

What’s so good about this Tesla Model Y deal?

This deal comes straight from the manufacturer and, unlike a lot of other deals that limit annual mileage to 5,000 miles, this lets you cover up to 10,000 miles per annum. The three-year deal requires an initial payment of £3,591, followed by ongoing monthly payments of £399 over the 36-month term.

If you need to adjust the length of the agreement or increase the mileage, then there is some flexibility to do so, although it does bring an extra charge. For example, specifying 15,000 miles per year means you’ll pay £430 on a monthly basis, combined with a slight increase in the deposit amount.

Tesla Model Y 3

This particular deal is for the rear-wheel drive model, which includes a generous level of standard equipment: 19-inch ‘Gemini’ wheels, a fixed glass roof, side and rear-view camera with a 360-degree surround view function, heated front and rear seats, climate control, a wireless charging function for two smartphones and, of course, the centrepiece 15-inch touch screen, which is used to control most of the car’s functions.

Performance for the Model Y is equally impressive, with 0-60mph taking 6.6 seconds, while overall range from a single charge is quoted at 283 miles.

What’s so good about the Tesla Model Y?

The Tesla Model Y will appeal to family EV buyers across the board. It’s extremely capable in pretty much every area, and brings a level of curb appeal that closer rivals still find hard to match. With low running costs and competitive monthly payments, the Model Y could be just the ticket.

Anything else I need to know about this deal?

This is a lease deal, often referred to as Personal Contract Hire (PCH), so there’s no option to buy the car at the end of the contract. You are effectively renting the car for the two-year term, but the deal is very flexible so you can adjust the term length, mileage limit and initial payment size to suit, but only at the outset. Once the deal is over, you just hand the keys back and start looking for your next car.

Our hot deals are carefully selected by our car buying experts and they are all subject to change. Always read the full terms and conditions and make sure the car and the deal suits your needs before proceeding.
