Volkswagen e-Golf reliability

The Volkswagen Golf is very well built and the new model came 18th out of 150 cars in our 2014 Driver Power survey. Consistency was key to its success and the car didn’t score badly in any of our 10 criteria.

Safety

Safety is also excellent and the Golf was awarded a five-star rating when it was crash tested by Euro NCAP. It gets numerous airbags, stability control and a seatbelt reminder that covers both the front and rear seats. The e-Golf comes fitted with a system that warns the driver to take a rest, and has brakes that stop the car from moving after an accident.
