I have heard horror stories about Alfa reliability, However apart from replacing a worn out Turbo I have had no issues what so ever. The car sailed through it's MOT and runs like a new car, smooth and quiet

Very little gone wrong apart from minor easily fixed little things

No problems to date but one 2 month's since first on road

Zero break downs in the 3 yrs, and only had to replace wear+tear (Pads, discs, filters) - despite the punishment it gets! Also no DPF issues at all

Under-rated, head-turning and still the best looking "sports tourer" you can get, also has a great sound for a diesel. Mine is the 210bhp version, with the 18" wheels - it has been remapped to run at 250bhp. Mpg of around 38mpg is acceptable - i do around 27k miles a year, though tyre wear is high.

Fantastic car, great looking and my sportwagon is suprisingly practical with seats folded as i moved home with it recently. Leather seats are as firm and fresh as when it was new 3 years ago and everything feels factory fresh after 55,000 miles. Ride quality is very good. Great build quality and loads more style and character than any german rival. Running costs are reasonable for the car's size and i get 40mpg driving hard and 50 cruising from the 1.9 jtdm. Depreciation is steep but i bought mine used and is a very well equiped car, lots of car for the money. Will definitely buy another alfa as you can now buy them with your head as well as your heart.
