Hot car deal: stunning Alfa Romeo Tonale SUV for £299 per month
The fabulous-looking Alfa Romeo Tonale is our hot deal for March 29th, and available with three years’ free servicing for just £299 a month
The Alfa Romeo Tonale is a premium SUV that has plenty of Italian flair and style to help it attract attention amongst a talented group of rivals. The Tonale is practical, too, while it handles well enough and comes with decent onboard technology. However, interior quality isn’t quite up there with the class best, although it’s a price you may be willing to pay for the gorgeous Tonale design.
What’s so good about this Alfa Romeo Tonale deal?
This personal contract hire (PCH) offer comes direct from Alfa Romeo and lets you cover up to 8,000 miles a year with an initial rental of £8,466, then monthly payments of £299 over a four-year term. Alfa Romeo is also throwing in three years’ free servicing to sweeten the deal.
Offered in Sprint trim, this particular Tonale model features 18-inch alloys, adaptive cruise control, dual-zone air conditioning, front and rear parking sensors, a keyless-go function, and a 10.25-inch touchscreen with integrated sat-nav and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.
Power comes from a 1.5-litre, four-cylinder mild-hybrid petrol engine producing 158bhp via a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. 0-62mph takes 8.8 seconds with a 130mph top speed. Alfa claims you should see up to 49.6mpg on the combined cycle, which is a pretty impressive return and means 500 miles-plus from a tank of fuel should be a realistic target across a mixture of roads.
What’s so good about the Alfa Romeo Tonale?
It’s not hard to see why buyers would be drawn to the Tonale; its striking looks help it stand out amongst rivals such as the Audi Q3, BMW X1, Mercedes GLA and Volvo XC40. Stand back and take in those classic Alfa styling cues such as the triangular grille and slim headlights, and you might even forgive the slight drop in interior quality. As an overall package, the Tonale is fun to drive, with decent practicality and a slick infotainment system – with three years’ free servicing thrown in, it’s definitely worth a look.

Anything else I need to know about this deal?
This is a lease deal, often referred to as Personal Contract Hire (PCH), so there’s no option to buy the car at the end of the contract. You are effectively renting the car for the two-year term, but the deal is very flexible so you can adjust the term length, mileage limit and initial payment size to suit but only at the outset. Once the deal is over, you just hand the keys back and start looking for your next car.
Our hot deals are carefully selected by our car buying experts and they are all subject to change. Always read the full terms and conditions and make sure the car and the deal suits your needs before proceeding.
