BMW 4 Series coupe - Practicality & boot space
There's decent room in the back and a large boot

By virtue of its swooping lines and two-door layout, the 4 Series is less practical than the BMW 3 Series but customers in the market for a sporty coupe shouldn't find it too hard to live with. Those who like the coupe styling but need more room will want to wait for the 4 Series Gran Coupe, which is expected to arrive before the end of 2021.
BMW 4 Series interior space & storage
The 4 Series comes with two rear seats but anyone looking forward to hopping in the back will have to be patient as the front seat slides, rises and tilts forwards to provide enough space to climb in. Mission accomplished, there's more kneeroom in the rear seats than you'll find in an Audi A5 coupe but headroom is less impressive - even those approaching six feet tall will feel their head touch the headlining.
Boot space
A boot volume of 440 litres sounds impressive for a svelte coupe - and it is - but the Audi A5 Coupe also manages to provide 450 litres of space. Both of these easily trump the 380 litres of room in the Mercedes C-Class Coupe. It's also worth noting that while 440-litres of space is more than a Ford Focus offers, the boot in the 4 Series is rather long and shallow, so it can accommodate normal suitcases but won't always be suitable for awkward items.
