Hot car deal: all-electric Citroen e-C4 X for just £201 a month
Our hot car deal for 7 May offers great value for money; the Citroen e-C4 X for just £201 a month
The Citroen e-C4 X is a car that offers great value for money, while being comfortable and relaxing to drive. The French saloon offers a quirky fastback look with a hint of a regular SUV, and offers a little more boot space compared with its C4 hatchback sibling. Granted, it’s not particularly fun to drive, but it’ll easily take care of day-to-day family duties with plenty of interior space, storage options and a generous level of standard equipment, while a real-world all-electric range of around 200 miles and rapid-charging ability should make life with the e-C4 X a breeze.
What’s so good about this Citroen e-C4 X deal?
This two-year deal from Xcite car leasing lets you cover up to 5,000 miles, with an initial payment of £2,412.58, then monthly payments of £201.05. You can tailor the deal further if you so wish, but you will incur extra charges – for example, increasing the agreed annual mileage to 10,000 miles per year means you’ll pay £227.22 each month, with a few hundred pounds added to the initial deposit amount.
The e-C4 X in this particular deal comes in mid-range Max specification, and includes 18-inch alloys, LED headlights, a keyless entry and start function, a reversing camera, a driver’s head-up display, dual-zone climate control, heated front seats, wireless smartphone charging, and My Citroen Drive Plus; an infotainment system that includes a 10-inch touchscreen with integrated sat-nav, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and a subscription to real-time traffic and speed camera data.
Power comes from a 50kWh battery and single electric motor, producing 134bhp. Citroen claims the e-C4 X should be capable of 217 to 219 miles from a single charge, while charging from 20 to 80% at a 100kW rapid charger should take around 30 minutes.
What’s so good about the Citroen e-C4 X?
The quirky-looking Citroen e-C4 X majors heavily on comfort and, as long as you don’t ask too much of it on a windy road, will prove to be a perfectly decent family car. Impressive standard kit, good interior space and a decent electric range are all plus points, while running costs should be attractively low.

Anything else I need to know about this deal?
This is a lease deal, often referred to as Personal Contract Hire (PCH), so there’s no option to buy the car at the end of the contract. You are effectively renting the car for the one-year term, but the deal is very flexible so you can adjust the term length, mileage limit and initial payment size to suit, but only at the outset. Once the deal is over, you just hand the keys back and start looking for your next car.
Our hot deals are carefully selected by our car buying experts and they are all subject to change. Always read the full terms and conditions and make sure the car and the deal suits your needs before proceeding.
