Today’s hot car deal: sporty Cupra Born EV for £288 per month
The Cupra Born is a well-rounded all-electric hatchback that’s great to drive, and it’s our hot car deal for March 18th at just £288 per month
The all-electric Cupra Born is a five-door hatchback that, while closely related to the Volkswagen ID.3, manages to outshine its VW Group sibling in almost every area. A striking car to look at, the Born feels more premium and offers generous levels of kit, along with impressive range, efficiency and fast-charging ability. Ok, its rakish roofline eats into rear headroom a little, and some may find that the infotainment system takes some getting used to, but if you’re after a sporty family EV that delivers an accomplished overall package, then we’d suggest seriously considering the Cupra Born.
What’s so good about this Cupra Born?
This personal leasing deal can be found via Carwow; it lets you cover up to 5,000 miles a year with an initial payment of £2,891.18 - which includes a £299.99 broker fee - then monthly payments of £287.91 across a two-year term. You can contact the broker to discuss a specific personalised quote, although this will incur a different initial deposit and monthly instalment amounts.
The Born model offered in this particular deal comes in entry-level V1 specification, but is still well-equipped. Standard kit includes 18-inch alloys, full LED headlights, adaptive cruise control, front sports seats, dual-zone climate control,a heated steering wheel, a rear-view camera, and a 12.3-inch infotainment display with integrated sat-nav.
Power comes from a 58kWh battery supplying a single 201bhp electric motor; 0-62mph is taken care of in 7.3 seconds, with a 99mph top speed. During our own testing we found the Born to be pretty efficient, so Cupra’s claims of a 264-mile overall range should be achievable in the right conditions. And, with 120kW fast charging ability, you’ll be able to replenish the car’s battery from 5-80% in around 35 minutes, so you shouldn’t be kept waiting around on longer journeys.
What’s so good about the Cupra Born?
There’s actually quite a lot to like about the Cupra Born; its stylish and sporty exterior is backed up by a generous level of standard kit and a practical, usable range, while it also manages to be fun to drive and impressively efficient, too. If you’re wondering which all-electric hatchback could be right for you, then the Cupra Born has a lot of the bases covered.

Anything else I need to know about this deal?
This is a lease deal, often referred to as Personal Contract Hire (PCH), so there’s no option to buy the car at the end of the contract. You are effectively renting the car for the two-year term, but the deal is very flexible so you can adjust the term length, mileage limit and initial payment size to suit, but only at the outset. Once the deal is over, you just hand the keys back and start looking for your next car.
Our hot deals are carefully selected by our car buying experts and they are all subject to change. Always read the full terms and conditions and make sure the car and the deal suits your needs before proceeding.
