Love your new Cupra Born or your money back
Cupra launches its new ‘Love Me or Leave Me’ deal on the Born, encouraging buyers to try switching to an EV
- Return your Cupra Born for your money back in the first three months
- Get a free home EV charger from Ohme
- 10,000 miles of free charging offered by OVO
If you're thinking of making the switch to an electric car but aren't quite sure if it will work for you, Cupra might have the answer. The brand has just launched its ‘Love Me or Leave Me’ deal where you can buy its Born EV and give it back within the first three months if you're not completely satisfied.
Cupra says it’s launched the scheme to reassure potential buyers and quash the idea that an EV isn’t for them or that it won’t fit into their lifestyle. It hopes that by eliminating the risk associated with taking the leap to the all-electric Cupra Born, the public will be more inclined to give it a go.
How does the Love Me or Leave Me deal work?
The Cupra Born ‘Love Me or Leave Me’ deal entitles the customer to buy any version of the car from the brand’s stock and hand it back if they’re not satisfied – no questions asked. If they do so, Cupra says it will return the customer’s money and deposit whether they bought the car outright or on finance, although this is subject to damage and excess mileage so you’ll want to be careful with your new Born.
That’s not all, though – if you didn’t think that was enough to make a Cupra Born enticing, the brand has also partnered with Ohme, who will offer a free home wallbox charger and energy provider OVO who will give Cupra EV owners up to 10,000 miles free if they add its Charge Anytime tariff to their OVO energy contract. The Charge Anytime plan allows you to charge at home for just 7p per kWh at any time, so you don’t have to worry about sticking to off-peak charging, which is usually in the middle of the night.
When can I get the deal?
The Love Me or Leave Me deal is available immediately on qualifying Born models from Cupra’s stock.
