Hot car deal: retro Fiat 500 mild-hybrid for £107 a month
The Fiat 500 is full of old-school charm and is our hot car deal for February 28th at just £107 a month
Buyers looking for a stylish city car that runs on petrol power will find the Fiat 500 an appealing choice. Although the move towards electrification is gathering pace, there are still some customers that perhaps aren’t quite ready to make the switch just yet. And the beauty of this deal is that, with the newer electric Fiat 500 currently in the spotlight, the petrol version is being priced to sell.
Ok, it’s getting a little long in the tooth, and this particular model comes pre-registered, but the 500’s funky design still captures attention, and it’s easy to drive and park around congested urban streets. If you’re after a runaround, or perhaps a second car for the family, then we can certainly recommend the Fiat 500 – especially at this competitive price.
What’s so good about this Fiat 500 deal?
This deal from Applied Leasing lets you cover up to 5,000 miles a year with an initial payment of £3,600.00, then monthly payments of £107.28 over three years. This appears to be the best possible deal available from the broker, as adjusting the mileage or term length means that you’ll pay quite a bit more on a monthly basis.
For a basic city car the Fiat 500 actually offers a decent amount of standard equipment. It comes in (the now discontinued) Red specification, which includes 16-inch alloys, rear parking sensors, cruise control, air-conditioning, a fixed glass sunroof and a 7-inch infotainment touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.
Outright performance isn’t the 500’s strongest feature, but then that’s missing the point of its city car credentials; sprightly enough off the line, and with more than enough pace for driving around town, this six-speed manual car can only manage a 0-62mph time of 13.8 seconds, and does feel strained at higher speeds. However, the lack of power is more than made up for by Fiat’s claimed average fuel economy figure of up to 61.4mpg.
What’s so good about the Fiat 500?
The Fiat 500 makes driving in busy town or city streets a doddle, and if your lifestyle means that’s where you’ll be spending most of your time, then the 500 simply won’t disappoint. With generous standard kit and low running costs, too, is there a better way to spend a little over £100 a month?

Anything else I need to know about this deal?
This is a lease deal, often referred to as Personal Contract Hire (PCH), so there’s no option to buy the car at the end of the contract. You are effectively renting the car for the three-year term, but the deal is very flexible so you can adjust the term length, mileage limit and initial payment size to suit, but only at the outset. Once the deal is over, you just hand the keys back and start looking for your next car.
Our hot deals are carefully selected by our car buying experts and they are all subject to change. Always read the full terms and conditions and make sure the car and the deal suits your needs before proceeding.
