One or two niggling things. Noise from somewhere when braking, dealer couldn't identify what it is. Always starts without any problem any weather. Tyres seen to wear quickly.

Engine wise the car is faultless the had a squeaking coming from them bought new Discs and Pads as one was damaged after 38K and a full service history then on 48k all new again on the front Discs and pads and even a new caliper as that was faulty and still having a FSH and just recently having new Discs and pads on the back after just doing 50K and the brakes still make a squeaking noise from the front whish is why the car has to go.

Value for money beautiful cheap to run great quality for its value and fun to drive. 1.4 16v 90hp performance is poor but ok for roadtrips thank to 6 gears. Totally satisfied

A very stylish looking, well equipped car. Nicely finished interior. Different from the vast majority of bland cars on the road today.

Very good car, but due to my daily mileage it isn't getting driven properly so my mpg is terrible - about 32mpg (1.4 t-jet sport), but on long runs i get almost 43mpg average. Due to the lack of miles, it is costing far more to run than i had budgeted for...it's also on the large side for 1 person to use, also tyres are pricey (something i completely forgot to research before buying it). Saying all that, it's a very good car to drive a long distance in...comfy, powerful when needed. I really do like it even though it costs so much to go such small distances!

Great fun car. As lively performance acceleration as i want. 45 to 50 mpg average since new. Has every electronic gadget needed(blue & me/phone/media play from steering wheel control). Comfy seats. Looks nice & not nearly as boring as most of the mainstream family hatchbacks. Got fantastic discount off car from new, so not concerned about faster depreciation compared to vw. The car will cost about £9k in depreciation over 4 years/100k miles. Pretty good! Would recommend to anyone who doesnt want the norm!

After 40k miles, and some serious commuting, the bravo hasn't missed a beat. The only real issue is a lack of leg room for long legged drivers. Certainly a far better car than many so called 'experts' would have you believe, especially having driven a focus zetec and golf gt as courtesy cars. Both were inferior; the 'premium' golf was especially poor in comparison. Fiat bravo worst in class? Er, no i don't think so. :p

I think fiat have really done a good job. (i have owned something like 20+ cars all from various makers, some good some bad some horrendous and they all had something go wrong, so its not really unexpected. So if you know of any vehicle that you can recommend as being perfect then let us all know.)

Quite well designed, body looks stylish and interior smart black/red-but engine, with 6 gears, lacks ooomph.i should have bought 120bhp instead of 90 bravo model.

One of most stylish cars in its class but sadly underrated as british motorists seem to prefer bland and opt for vw/ford 'status symbols'. Refreshing to own a car that is not just another golf/focus.

The bravo is a good all round car, my model is fully loaded and top of the range, it offers good running costs and is well specced for the money it cost, overall i'm happy with my purchase.

Gearbox exploded just before Christmas, local dealer & national head office less than helpful. Car off road for 3 weeks, cost to repair almost same price as car is now worth. Car only done 40,000 miles 4 years old. Fiat deny this is a problem. Want to give no stars on this sit but can't

Good car overall, nice build quality, safe,good fuel economy, comfy ride and with low co2. It's my driving school car and all the pupil love it and find it easy to drive, for me that speaks volumes, i also train full licence holders in it and they are all surprised by the quality

The fiat bravo is not suitable to the uk market, lack of technical support and fiats poor attitude to customers is way below the basic standard a consumer would demand Fiat are not competative at any level and are quit simply should adopt the lancia approach and leave the uk

Nice styling, well built with a solid feel, easy to drive and very economical. Some nice touches, ie, the lights that come on when you turn a corner illuminating where you are turning to, blue and me, and the slot for a memory stick, so i do not need to carry cds.

You will struggle to find fault with the 2.0 diesel model. It hasn't missed a beat since I have owned it. Just coming up to 40k miles and still feels like new. Excellent value for money and build quality. Very quick for what it is, quiet on the motorway even on 18 inch wheels and returns good mpg (when driven sensibly) which many cars of the same spec couldn't beat. My only complaint is that Fiat don't sell front mud flaps for it - I have had to have the side skirts resprayed but this didn't cost much. Fiat customer service and dealer network is also miles behind competitors.

Intermiuttent fault not traced since i had it. Has cost me a small fortune for an old banger and tried to kill me several times. Now think ity might be the ecu. If wecan fix it , the car will be fine. Just dont trust it now.

No mechanical faults up to 33000 miles.I've Been quite pleased with performance and useful extras such as blue & me. Now warranty is over will not be using main dealer as servicing is very expensive. Overall happy would like alfa giulietta (used) as next car.

I love the styling inside and out and the engine is good. I find the car comfy for short trips, but on long trips the absence of a foot rest and offset pedals means i get sore ankles. The fuel economy has been lower than i expected and the service costs higher than what i have paid for on previous cars.
