Best value small car that has 5 doors and air-con as standard yet with a responsive engine - some details could be better without any extra cost to the manufacturer.

I think itsa grate car, i dont care what people think of it its a grate little car, sometihngs are a little annoying like after 4 times of sitting on the drivers seat base, it wrinkled, plus the radio facia is creaking and the streering wheel creaks when i turn it. Apart from those minnor niggles its a good little car!

Above problem was a very minor oil leak. After 31,000 in nine months, i am very pleased with car. It might be a cheap small car but it's a very good cheap small car!

It does exactly what it says on the tin, but it's built neither for comfort nor for speed. Dreadfully boring, uncomfortable over bumpy roads, but cheap to run and on the whole reliable.

I bought this as my first car and it's a brilliant little car to own and drive. Extremely smooth gear changes, very quiet running, amazing on petrol with both long and short drives, and surprisingly spacious inside. Not the best on hills, but certainly not the worst! A normal basic interior with a built in radio and CD player, but there is always the option to upgrade. Overall an amazing little car to drive!

Bought an ex-demo model 2000 miles on clock. I am 79 years old and have driven various cars from Bentley, Jag, BMW etc. This Hyundai is a nice little car but drinks petrol. Mostly urban driving 30mpg max. Very poor consumption! Is there something wrong?

The i10 is and ideal car for a singla person run around or a mother with only one child, car seat , buggy etc . At a push you can have two seats a buggy and two adults but only about 4 bags of shopping. If i was to buy again i would get and i30 as the slightly larger engine and space would be more suited to my circumstances now. I enjoy driving it and get about 300 mile to a full 30 litres tank. The only problem i have experienced is obtaining tyres to fit the 'style' factory alloys ! I was totally unaware until i got a puncture that they are an unusual size.(175/15r50/75h) (yes it is the correct sizing my boyfriend double checked as he thought i was going mad lol!) Tyres are only avalible through hyundai or internet order so far i have been on my space saver tyre for a week and still not sure when i will recieve my new tyre! This has some what tainted my view of hyundai customer services but not the vehicle it's self. In a time when people are reluctant to spend money i thought they would take more care of their current customers.

For the price paid, i am very impressed with the full specification and the trouble-free running. It's a lovely little car and very easy to drive. I sometimes think that the bodywork is somewhat lightweight but only time will tell how durable it is

Short, high. Roomy v. Easy exit. Terrific value, enabling a v. Full spec of extras.(eg leather) quality up with best nippy and fair performance on non m roads - over 40mpg, with low tax/insurance. Not a long distant cruiser, but the best combination for me as a oap, all at 10g !!

Excellent car. We moved to this from a Subaru Forester and strangely it doesn't feel any smaller inside though it looks tiny outside. Visibility and reliability is great. Not sure why the review thought it was tiring on motorways, we've done some very long trips and it's fine. Boot looks tiny but there is a lot of vertical space in it which means that with some careful packing you can get a surprising amount in. Very nippy at low speeds but cruises all day on the motorway and it has decent acceleration from about 40-70mph making it un-stressful when joining fast roads such as motorways. Add all this to a decent basic spec and low price and this is a really great car. Only downside is we have found it hard to get much beyond 50mpg with 2 adults & 2 kids.

This car was bought brand new and is just under 4 months old and has travelled 2,300 miles. I monitor the fuel consumption every time that I fill the car up. It currently is averaging 38-39 miles to the gallon, a long way below the average of 61mpg listed in the literature. The best that I ever achieved was 51mpg and the worst 36 mpg. We only use the car for relatively short journeys of up to 10 miles, but nonetheless are very disappointed with the fuel consumption. This is not what we expected. Problems:- Within a week the driver seatbelt failed and would not release from the locking mechanism. In a car accident this would have been very serious. My options were to cut through the belt, (no scissors or knife) or to be a contortionist to try to wriggle out of the belt. It took me a full 5 minutes to get my knees then legs under and through the seatbelt, which being in the locked position, was then unusable and illegal. The garage replaced the locking mechanism/ arm of the seatbelt within 2 days, but had to order the parts. Overall:- We still love the car and accept the known firm ride which was noted on the test drive. Other than the very disappointing fuel consumption, the car whilst still relatively new is still much loved.

Its a cracking little car for the price, vastley underated in my opinion. Its very well equiped with, abs, front and side air bags, electric windows back and front, electricaly adjusable mirrors, electric power steering, cd sterio etc plus five year warranty. It just shows that most other manufacturers overprice their cars.

For my budget (£7500) the hyundai offered the best overall package with five doors and a five year warranty, whilst it will never be a classic in years to come it does offer reliable and cheap transport and is well built oh and it has aircon and an auxillary input on the stereo!

Good for getting in and out of due to height and wide opening doors. Fuel consumption not particularly good. New car was delivered with problem of engine revs racing between gears, so I do rather wonder how good the pre-delivery inspection was by the garage. Problem was promptly fixed after returning it.

Not just a city car, more than that. A rural runabout, better performance, grip and handling than a city car. More at home on a dual carriage way, and more fun on the b roads.
