Hot car deal: talented Hyundai Ioniq 5 EV for an amazing £214 per month
The striking Hyundai Ioniq 5 offers head-turning style and a high-tech interior; it’s our hot deal for March 21st at just £214 per month
Despite being on sale for more than three years, the Hyundai Ioniq 5 remains one of our favourite electric cars, that really stands out from the crowd. Its sharp exterior lines and minimalist cabin give the Korean EV a premium feel, while its large hatchback-style proportions mean there’s plenty of room inside for passengers, along with decent storage space, too. A practical range and useful fast-charging ability are further impressive elements in what is a truly compelling package.
What’s so good about this Hyundai Ioniq 5 deal?
This deal from LeaseLoco lets you cover up to 5,000 miles a year with an initial payment of £2,569.08, then 18 monthly payments of £214.09. There is scope to adjust either the leasing term or the agreed mileage, although this will incur additional charges. For example, opting for a two-year deal with an 8,000-mile annual limit means you’ll pay £261.41 per month, with a £3,172.92 initial deposit amount.
Offered in SE Connect trim, this particular Ioniq 5 model is a stock car and includes 19-inch alloys, smart cruise control, dual-zone climate control, rear-view parking camera, a wireless smartphone charging pad, and dual 12.3-inch displays - one providing information for the driver and the other controlling the infotainment system.
Equipped with a 58kWh battery, the Ioniq 5 features a single electric motor producing 168bhp. 0-62mph takes around 8.5 seconds, while Hyundai claims you should see a maximum range of 238 miles across a mixture of roads. Taking on longer trips shouldn’t be an issue, either, because the Ioniq 5’s ability to support ultra-fast charging speeds means that you can replenish the battery from 10-80% in just 18 minutes.
What’s so good about the Hyundai Ioniq 5?
The Ioniq 5’s concept-car looks make a strong statement, while its all-round practicality is a real bonus. When you also consider its generous levels of standard kit, advanced active safety systems and easy-to-use onboard technology, the Ioniq 5 is hard to beat.

Anything else I need to know about this deal?
This is a lease deal, often referred to as Personal Contract Hire (PCH), so there’s no option to buy the car at the end of the contract. You are effectively renting the car for the two-year term, but the deal is very flexible so you can adjust the term length, mileage limit and initial payment size to suit but only at the outset. Once the deal is over, you just hand the keys back and start looking for your next car.
Our hot deals are carefully selected by our car buying experts and they are all subject to change. Always read the full terms and conditions and make sure the car and the deal suits your needs before proceeding.
