I think the Ioniq is excellent value for money if you're looking at your first EV or want to upgrade. It's incredible and well known for its economy and aerodynamics. I prefer the 38kW version due to the extra range, while I usually charge at home so the lack of fast charging is not an issue for me.
What's the one thing you like most about your car?
Efficiency is the best out there, equals the Tesla Model 3

We have had our Ioniq EV for approximately 6 months, trouble free. It is FUN to drive and gets many heads turning, while still looking like just any other car, unlike other EV's. It's very aerodynamic with a low profile and attractive, yet different, style. We can, with the effective use of the regenerative steering column paddles, get around 295 kms (185 MILES) on a charge. This will decrease 10%-20% during the winter months as you use the Heater/defogger, heated steering wheel and seat. Still lots of range for most driving situations. We have yet to pay for any fuel (electricity) by using the FREE level 2 chargers available at many Municipal parks, schools, and shopping centres. There are Charging Stations in most Cities & Towns, so while planning is required, recharging and topping up is very possible everywhere you travel. Contrary to what has been noted, you can completely recharge the battery from low to Full in 3 hours on a Level 2 charger, 8-10 hrs on a 120 grounded home circuit ( Level 1), an only 35 minutes on a Level 3 Quick charge location. There is very low maintenance required, only tire rotations, yearly fluid level check etc. There is some road noise, similar to ICE models, which varies on different road surfaces, but who drives with the radio or their music off anyway, right? We would highly recommend this vehicle to anybody interested in environmental concerns and reducing their vehicle operation costs. The Ioniq EV is unbelievably quiet , with absolutely no ICE engine noise, and you experience NO gear shifting hesitation, gear noise, & only ONE speed -'GO' !!! -- We so enjoy driving our EV , and would not hesitate recommending the Hyundai Ioniq EV to others.
