Hot car deal: adventurous Jeep Avenger SUV for £157 a month
Our hot car deal for March 7th the desirable Jeep Avenger small SUV for just £157 a month
The Jeep Avenger is an appealing small SUV that would sell by the bucketload just based on its looks alone. Jeep has distilled its tough, off-roader DNA into a stylish, smaller package that offers good practicality, impressive onboard technology and efficient engines, while being great to drive around busier urban streets. Space is a little tight for rear passengers, but if the Avenger fits in with your lifestyle, it’ll quickly win you over and prove it has real substance to match its characterful design.
What’s so good about this Jeep Avenger deal?
Unusually, this deal from Applied Leasing, is a personal lease that covers just 12 months – so perfect if you’re needing a flexible, shorter-term solution to getting around. There’s a 5,000-mile limit across the year, with an initial payment of £1,883.16 then monthly payments of £156.93. There is some flexibility on the agreed mileage, although you will pay a little more; for example, upping the arrangement to 8,000 miles adds £17.16 to each monthly instalment.
The Avenger offered in this particular deal comes in generous Altitude specification, including 18-inch alloy wheels, keyless entry and go, adaptive cruise control, a rear-view camera, a wireless smartphone charging function, and a 10.25-inch infotainment touchscreen with integrated sat-nav. The ADAS pack, which brings safety and convenience features, is also thrown in and adds automatic high/low beam, an electrochromatic rear-view mirror to help reduce glare, power folding door mirrors, front, rear and side parking sensors and Jeep’s Urban Blind Spot Monitor tech.
Power comes from a 1.2-litre petrol engine, producing 99bhp via a six-speed manual gearbox. 0-62mph takes a sedate 10.6 seconds, although we found this engine punchy enough and you don’t have to work it too hard to get up to faster motorway speeds. Perhaps more impressive is the Avenger’s fuel economy of 51.4mpg which will particularly please family buyers.
What’s so good about the Jeep Avenger?
The Jeep Avenger’s styling works perfectly, delivering enough charm without becoming overly cutesy or awkwardly sentimental towards its bigger, off-road focused siblings. Its chunky look and slightly elevated ride height suits its urban brief, while a good level of standard kit, fuel efficient petrol engine and useful practical touches mean the Avenger could prove to be a great deal for 12-months motoring.

Anything else I need to know about this deal?
This is a lease deal, often referred to as Personal Contract Hire (PCH), so there’s no option to buy the car at the end of the contract. You are effectively renting the car for the one-year term, but the deal is very flexible so you can adjust the term length, mileage limit and initial payment size to suit, but only at the outset. Once the deal is over, you just hand the keys back and start looking for your next car.
Our hot deals are carefully selected by our car buying experts and they are all subject to change. Always read the full terms and conditions and make sure the car and the deal suits your needs before proceeding.
