Hot car deal: impressive Kia Sportage family SUV for £273 per month

The Kia Sportage GT-Line is a sweet spot in the range and is our deal for April 12th at just £273 per month

Kia Sportage drive front quarter

The first thing that strikes you about the Kia Sportage is its bold, ultra-modern look; it’s a confident design without being so extravagant that it might risk alienating its core family buyers. This sharp style sets the tone for the rest of the car – comfort and refinement are excellent, while the importance of practicality and efficiency hasn't been forgotten, either: the Sportage offers a large boot space and the choice of hybrid or plug-in hybrid engines. With onboard technology also being a standout feature, it’s no surprise that the Korean SUV is such a strong seller.

What’s so good about this Kia Sportage deal?

This two-year deal lets you cover up to 5,000 miles a year with an initial payment of £3,272.76, followed by monthly instalments of £272.73. If you’d prefer a little more flexibility, you can alter the term length or the agreed mileage, although it means you will pay extra. For example, upping the deal to cover 10,000 miles a year means you’ll have to fork out £308.68 every month.

Offered in sporty GT-Line trim, this particular Sportage model includes 18-inch alloys, LED headlights, rear privacy glass, front and rear parking sensors, cruise control, three-zone climate control, heated front seats, a heated steering wheel and a 12.3-inch infotainment screen with integrated sat-nav, along with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.

Power comes from a 1.6-litre hybrid petrol engine, producing 212bhp via a six-speed automatic transmission. 0-62mph takes just 8.4 seconds, while Kia claims you should benefit from average fuel economy of more than 50mpg.

What’s so good about the Kia Sportage?

Kia Sportage rear quarter dynamic

The Kia Sportage consistently features on the list of best-selling cars in the UK, largely because it performs so well across the board with very few (if any) particular weak spots. We’ve previously mentioned that the Korean family SUV can become expensive as you climb the range, but that argument is pretty much negated when you consider the competitive monthly payments on offer here.

About this lease deal…

About the car…

  • Monthly payments: 24 x £272.73
  • Initial payment: £3,272.76
  • Fees: £270
  • Mileage limit: 5,000 miles

Anything else I need to know about this deal?

This is a lease deal, often referred to as Personal Contract Hire (PCH), so there’s no option to buy the car at the end of the contract. You are effectively renting the car for the two-year term, but the deal is very flexible so you can adjust the term length, mileage limit and initial payment size to suit, but only at the outset. Once the deal is over, you just hand the keys back and start looking for your next car.

Our hot deals are carefully selected by our car buying experts and they are all subject to change. Always read the full terms and conditions and make sure the car and the deal suits your needs before proceeding.
