Maserati launches F Tributo Special Editions
Maserati releases F Tributo Special Editions of Ghibli and Levante to celebrate brand’s motorsport heritage
- Available on Ghibli and Levante models
- Celebrates Maserati’s motorsport history
- Comes in two exclusive colours
Maserati has revealed F Tributo Special Editions of the Ghibli and Levante at the 2021 Shanghai Motor Show. The two cars feature a range of visual upgrades, including two special paint colours.
The trim has been designed to commemorate Maserati’s motorsport heritage, which began 95 years ago in 1926. More specifically, these models celebrate the Italian carmaker’s debut in Formula 1, when they entered the 250F driven by Juan Manuel Fangio in 1954, and the subsequent victories they enjoyed.
The Ghibli and Levante F Tributo models will be identifiable by two exclusive paint finishes - the Rosso Tributo and the Azzurro Tributo. The fiery red represents the brand’s historic motor racing paintwork, while the vibrant blue is (alongside yellow) one of the colours of Modena, where the brand was born.
Fangio’s 250F sported red and yellow livery, which has been reflected in the two cars’ yellow brake callipers. To complete the look, The Levante F Tributo is fitted with 21-inch Anteo wheels in Black, while the Ghibli F Tributo sits on 21-inch, gloss-black Titano wheels. Details include an exclusive badge finished in gloss black on the wheel arch and a body-coloured trident logo on the C- pillar.
The two cabins of both cars have received subtle tweaks over the regular models on which they’re based. Both gain red or yellow stitching to match the exterior paintwork and black leather upholstery.
The Maserati Levante is the firm's first 4x4. Find out more about this SUV in our in-depth review.
