Thanks to its sheer size and lavish appointments, the S-Class is a practical and unbelievably comfortable car for driver and passengers. This is even more the case for the long wheelbase version, which is akin to first-class air travel for the road.
Mercedes S-Class interior space & storage
The S-Class is one of the longest cars on sale, measuring well over five metres in length, so interior space is exemplary for adults of virtually any size. It also features some of the most highly adjustable and opulent seats in the business, so getting comfortable shouldn't be a problem. The long wheelbase version has 110mm more bodywork between the front and rear wheels, so space is even more plentiful. It also adds electrically adjustable rear seats that can be reclined for a VIP experience.
Boot space
Every version of the S-Class has seen boot space increase by 20 litres, so there's now 550 litres of space available under the bootlid. That should be plenty for the suitcases and carry-on luggage typically found in the back of the S-Class.
