New Skoda Yeti Adventure available from July
The special edition Skoda Yeti Adventure comes with a host of extra equipment as standard
There's a new special edition of the Skoda Yeti SUV, called the Yeti Adventure, which includes over £2,250 worth of equipment.
The new Skoda Yeti Adventure pack will be available in either front-wheel drive with a 2.0-litre TDI diesel engine or four-wheel drive with the more powerful 138bhp 2.0-litre diesel.
The smaller 109bhp engine in the front-wheel drive model produces emissions of 134g/km and returns 55.4mpg. The more powerful engine option in the Yeti 4x4 returns 48.7mpg and 152g/km in emissions. The two versions are available with a manual gearbox only, with no automatic option.
This special model is based on the SE version, and includes loads of extra equipment for only a slight price increase. The front-wheel drive Skoda Yeti Adventure is priced at £18,640, while the four-wheel drive model will cost £21,215. The price increase over the SE model is £110 and £35 respectively.
Despite the small price increase the Skoda Yeti Adventure interior is packed with extra features as standard, including a sat-nav, Bluetooth connectivity, digital radio and extra buttons on the steering wheel for controlling the phone and entertainment systems.
The Yeti Adventure’s asking price also includes a roof rack, 17-inch alloy wheels, black paint on the door mirrors and roof, special seats and chrome trim along the side of the car. Colours available include Candy White or Brilliant Silver Metallic, both of which are included in the price.
Standard equipment on the SE model, includes air-conditioning, cruise control, a trip computer, front fog lights and rear parking sensors. All of which also feature on the Yeti Adventure.
The car’s release date is the 22nd of July 2013, and comes with three years free servicing from Skoda.
