SsangYong Tivoli LE special-edition trim level launched

New SsangYong Tivoli LE spec brings style upgrades and starts from £17,745

SsangYong has revealed a new trim level for its Tivoli crossover. The new LE model offers aesthetic upgrades usually reserved for the range-topping Ultimate model, plus all the equipment from the SsangYong Tivoli ELX spec. The car is available to buy now, with prices starting from £17,745 for petrol models with manual gearboxes.

The most noticeable change is the vivid ‘Orange Pop’ paint, a new colour specific to this trim level. You can also choose from ‘Space Black’ or ‘Silent Silver’ paint colours if the orange shade doesn’t appeal. All LE models feature a black roof and diamond-cut 18-inch alloy wheels, plus a rear spoiler and electrically folding mirrors. Metallic paint is included in the price.

The LE’s starting price of £17,745 is only £750 more than the equivalent ELX spec. Choosing an automatic gearbox pushes the price up by £1,000, while the diesel models with manual and automatic gearboxes cost £19,245 and £20,245 respectively. Across the board, LE spec is £1,250 cheaper than the top-spec Ultimate.

Based on the ELX specification, the LE offers an impressive array of standard equipment. A seven-inch touchscreen offers DAB radio, Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and the display for the reversing camera, while cruise control, heated front seats, a heated steering wheel and dual-zone climate control all feature too. Standard safety kit includes auto emergency braking, forward collision warning and active rollover protection.

The SsangYong Tivoli LE benefits from the Korean company’s generous warranty, which covers you for seven years or 150,000 miles - whichever comes first.
