New Audi A3 prices announced
Prices for the new Audi A3 range have been announced, starting from £19,205.
Audi has announced prices for the new Audi A3, and it starts from £19,205 for the entry-level 1.4 TFSI SE.
The range at launch comprises eight models split over three trims and three engines. Entry-level SE spec is also offered with Audi's efficient 2.0 TDI diesel, while Sport and S line cars get the 1.4 TFSI, 2.0 TDI and a new 1.8 TFSI. The latter engine comes with a seven-speed S tronic semi-automatic, while the other two are manual only.
All models are well equipped. SE cars come with 16-inch alloy wheels, air-conditioning, iPod connection, trip computer, Bluetooth phone connection with voice control and a multifunction steering wheel.
Move up to Sport trim, and you get 17-inch alloys and Audi's Drive Select adaptive chassis system. This enables the driver to alter the car’s character by changing the steering, throttle and gearshifts of the standard S tronic gearbox. Other kit includes cruise control, two-zone climate control, sports seats, a sports steering wheel and aluminium detailing.
Top-spec S line models get 18-inch alloy wheels, a subtle bodykit, xenon lights with LED daytime running lamps, a sports steering wheel and part-leather seats, plus optional sports suspension. As usual, there is a raft of optional extras available across the range.
The Audi A3 is available to order now with deliveries starting in September. More engine and trim options, plus quattro four-wheel drive, will be launched at a later date, as will a five-door A3 Sportback, four-door saloon and convertible.
