The Peugeot 2008 and e-2008 SUVs get new trim lineup
New trim levels bring higher specifications and new technology
- Available for order now
- Entry model now named Active Premium +
- Option of a 1.2-litre petrol or fully electric powertrain
Peugeot have announced a refresh of its compact SUV that will drop several trim levels in favour of higher specification and design tweaks for both the petrol Peugeot 2008 and fully-electric Peugeot e-2008 range.
The updates aim to keep the small SUV competitive against rivals that also offer both petrol and electric models – including the Kia Niro, Hyundai Kona, and Vauxhall Mokka – and mirror updates brought out on the 208 small car.

Starting at £22,735, Active Premium+ trim is the new entry model and includes gloss black styling touches to the roof rails and tinted rear windows, along with a strip of gloss back at the rear to highlight the styling update.
Priced at £24,355, Allure Premium + takes the place of the old Allure Premium model and adds connected 3D navigation, to include European mapping – as part of an inclusive three-year subscription – and voice recognition for navigation, radio and calls. You also get a set of aluminium pedals to lift the interior styling.
There will be no increase in price for the upgraded trim levels making them better value than before, although those looking to keep their car longer than three years should be mindful of the navigation subscription cost once the three years expire.
Powertrain options remain the same with the 1.2-litre petrol creating the same power and efficiency as before. The Peugeot e-2008 retains a range of 214 miles with charge times of 30 minutes from 0-80% using a 100kW rapid charger.
Car buyers can order the updated 2008 and e-2008 at local dealers from today.
