Hot car deal: stylish Peugeot 2008 small SUV for £120 a month
The Peugeot 2008 small SUV has a bold exterior look and a quality cabin; it’s our hot car deal for March 12th at just £120 a month
If you’re after a small SUV that has plenty of style and a near-premium feel, then the Peugeot 2008 is definitely one to consider. Its eye-catching exterior design is smart and sophisticated, while the superb interior quality puts other rivals such as the Ford Puma and Renault Captur in the shade. It’s fair to say it’s not the most fun to drive, but the 2008 serves up a decent amount of boot space, along with a good level of standard equipment, and the attractive monthly payments on offer here just make it more of a complete package.
What’s so good about this Peugeot 2008 small SUV deal?
This deal from Central Vehicle Leasing lets you cover up to 5,000 miles a year with an initial payment of £2,399.76, followed by monthly payments of £119.99 over 18 months. You can adjust the agreed annual mileage if you wish, although you will pay a little more. For example, upping the allowance to 10,000 miles means you’ll pay £130.79 per month, with an extra £216 added to the deposit amount.
The 2008 offered in this particular deal comes in mid-range Allure trim which includes 17-inch alloy wheels, gloss black roof bars, rear privacy glass, rear parking sensors, cruise control, automatic air conditioning and a pair of 10-inch digital displays – one for the driver’s display and the other operating the car’s infotainment system.
Power comes from a 1.2-litre PureTech petrol engine, providing 128bhp via a six-speed manual gearbox. 0-62mph takes a reasonable 9.7 seconds, while Peugeot claims you should see average fuel economy of up to 52.7mpg on a mixture of roads.
What’s so good about the Peugeot 2008 small SUV?
One criticism we had of the Peugeot 2008 was that it could feel a little expensive to buy compared to some of its class rivals, but with this deal offering monthly payments from under £120 per month, that issue is more than taken care of. When you consider the strong level of standard equipment on offer, its efficient petrol engine and Peugeot’s strong sense of style, the 2008 is worth shortlisting - particularly when you factor in the flexible 18-month agreement.

Anything else I need to know about this deal?
This is a lease deal, often referred to as Personal Contract Hire (PCH), so there’s no option to buy the car at the end of the contract. You are effectively renting the car for the 1.5-year term, but the deal is very flexible so you can adjust the term length, mileage limit and initial payment size to suit, but only at the outset. Once the deal is over, you just hand the keys back and start looking for your next car.
Our hot deals are carefully selected by our car buying experts and they are all subject to change. Always read the full terms and conditions and make sure the car and the deal suits your needs before proceeding.
