Before you drive the car everything seems quite beautiful. The sharp shapes and the modern look of the car would hook you in the first place, however things are not similiar when you drive the car, To start with, the gearbox is so irritating, it feels like a bit hard to switch it. Secondly the noises that you hear and feel are catastrophy themselves. Every single smallest hole makes you feel as if the hole has around a 1/2 meter of depth. The brakes are not satisfying, the car is not stable, you do not feel safe at all while driving. Over 70 kms per hour makes you uncomfortable whereas the rivals of 207 gives you the feeling of comfort and safety. There is a disturbing noise coming from the right window all the time. The material that is used inside of the car is nice however the material of the outside is weak in terms of robustness. I had an accident a month ago I was driving by 15 kms per hour and hit a car which was moving on as well. I had to renew all the front suspension. I consume too much fuel. One last thing, Even though I do all the services on time, it constantly brakes down. To conclude with I am very disappointed with my car and looking forward to sell it. I would never suggest this car to anyone including my worst enemies :)

Great little car. Very economical and good spec. Only issues was with the bluetooth-to-ice unit. Fault diagnosed and part ordered. Replaced on second visit. I do think servicing is a tad expensive.

I love the look of this car, it is comfortable, cheap to run and is just the right size to carry passengers and the weekly shopping fits in the boot. The controls and steering are light which makes it effortless to drive around town, and there is plenty of power and comfort for the long run.

Excellent car, not great economy but mainly short journeys for work. Great fun on country roads, looking for 4x4 type next though as do lots of walking and sometimes look for extra grip on some poorer muddy roads.

Overall the 207 is a good car the only trouble ive had is the back box bracket broke and the dealer wanted nearly £300 to fix, and it also goes through front dics and pads in the year ive had the car ive had to replace both twice, and the shocks had an advisory on them for the mot all of this for a 07 plate. other than that i really like the car.

Extremely reliable with the exception of a thirst for light bulbs and it gets through brake discs and pads a bit quicker than other cars I've owned. Fairly minor points which just keep it off a 5 star rating.

Pretty good all round car loads of room in the front but very little space for rear seat passengers concidering its a 5 door.handles well brakes steers well everything still works as it did when it left the factory,adiquate bootspace loads of room with rear seats down,not thirsty on petrol ride is very good cant complain at all really, had a few niggles at first including petrol gauge only showing 3/4 when full and engine would cut out as car came to a stop due to a fault with the imobiliser, plip key buttons no longer work after daily use for nearly 3 years its a fault with only 1 key,quoted £150 by peugeot dealer for a new kew now its out of warranty (annoying)this peugeot was preiviously owned by the main dealer ex demo payed a great price.overall very good indeed hope this helps

Basically sound but some weaknesses in design and weaknesses with electrical accessories. The car goes and stops reliably but creaks, groans, broken bits and electrical gremlins are part of the ownership experience.

The peugeot 207 sw is a brilliant all-rounder with good build quality, excellent handling and more than adequate performance. The styling is superb, but comfort, practicality and interior space have not been compromised. For a small estate, the interior space is also very good. Safety features are very good and the car has an excellent rating in this category. The diesel model is very economical: our previous 207 hatchback scored 73.5 mpg on a long trip from the west country to the midlands and the present 207 averages 56 t0 60 mpg, depending on conditions. Co2 emissions are very low, allowing a very low annual road tax.

Trim under the front bumper keeps falling off in the road. Dealership tried to charge me for clipping it back on when i took car for service. The car is fine, the dealership is poor in all respects and i have had subsequent work done in a fast fit place.

It looks fantastic even though i don't have a high spec. The equipment level has decreased, however, since its facelift - something which i think happened way too soon. Overall economy has been good - even though i'm a driving instructor which means a lot of stop and starting and practicality has been helpful as i have recently moved home. The only problem i've had is the dealer.

I am a driving instructor so i do a lot of mileage which wares out the brakes. It was a simple fix that took a couple of hours after ats found the compatible part. Overall i am pleased with the car; i sit in it all day and don't get dissapointed with the interior, the exterior looks are amazing, even for a car that costs only £12,000. Fuel economy is great. I also change my car every year under a lease and i have never been dissapointed with a car even before i get my new one.
