Hot car deal: tempting Peugeot 208 supermini for just £134 a month
The eye-catching Peugeot 208 is a real charmer and is our hot car deal for March 27th for a bargain £134 per month
The Peugeot 208 is one of the most stylish small cars you can buy, while it also offers generous levels of kit, a quality interior and an efficient range of petrol and hybrid engines, along with a couple of all-electric versions, too. True, it’s a little tight for space in the rear, and other rivals such as the Renault Clio and Skoda Fabia feature a larger boot, but the 208 rides well and stands out from the supermini crowd with its smart design.
What’s so good about this Peugeot 208 deal?
This two-year deal from Nationwide Vehicle Contracts lets you cover up to 5,000 miles each year, with an initial payment of £1,604.04, then monthly payments of £133.67. There is flexibility to increase the length of the lease or the agreed mileage limit, but you’ll pay more if you choose to do so. For example, doubling the annual mileage to 10,000 miles per year means you’ll pay £167.54 every month.
The 208 comes in top-of-the-range GT trim, which includes 17-inch alloys, a black roof, LED headlights, cruise control, front and rear parking sensors, a colour reversing camera, a wireless smartphone charging function, and Peugeot’s i-Cockpit setup with a 10-inch infotainment screen and integrated sat-nav.
Power comes from a 1.2-litre PureTech petrol engine producing 99bhp via a six-speed manual gearbox. 0-62mph takes a reasonable 10.1 seconds, while average fuel economy of up to 58.2mpg is a real boon.
What’s so good about the Peugeot 208?
The Peugeot 208 in 99bhp petrol form offers a decent blend of performance and impressive fuel economy, while the GT specification ensures you’ll have lots of onboard tech and comfort and convenience features to help smooth along the daily drive. We found the 208 quite expensive compared with its close rivals, but this particular deal removes that barrier and makes for a compelling supermini package.

Anything else I need to know about this deal?
This is a lease deal, often referred to as Personal Contract Hire (PCH), so there’s no option to buy the car at the end of the contract. You are effectively renting the car for the two-year term, but the deal is very flexible so you can adjust the term length, mileage limit and initial payment size to suit, but only at the outset. Once the deal is over, you just hand the keys back and start looking for your next car.
Our hot deals are carefully selected by our car buying experts and they are all subject to change. Always read the full terms and conditions and make sure the car and the deal suits your needs before proceeding.
