Bought this from a Honda dealership and to be honest it’s the worst car I’ve ever driven. It sounds more like a hairdryer with that constant whirring noise and a constant humming noise. The gear shifts are never clean. The paintwork is terrible.

Fantastic daily driver, best of both sporty and practical.

What's the one thing you like most about your car?

More overall than one particular thing, namely the handling performance, driving engagement and pleasure for a modern car, besides the practicality factor and relative rarity.

If you could improve one thing, what would it be?

Paint and anti corrosion protection. Am now on my second FK8 type R as I sold first one due to poor Honda warranty corrosion repair on driver's door which required complete replacement. No fault of Honda directly but the paint and reassembly by their approved bodyshop was very subpar, to the point I got rid of that car and purchased another.

My third Civic, this one followed a 1600cc diesel tourer and the 1500cc Sport. The best car I've owned in over 50 years motoring! Looks good, feels good, comfortable and not too bad on fuel for the performance. Superb dealer service. Just had new set of tyres at 11,000 miles and told that was good as unusual to get over 10k ... but they are soft Continental 20" rubber and expensive - but what the 'eck, too much fun driving the car.
