A good car: lots of standard equipment and good value for money. The brakes are generally okay but handbrake often sticks on. The dealer is unable to fix it and not helpful.

Absolutely superb except my engine suffers from reoccurring injector issues. I’ve found an excellent cleaning product which has cured this issue. The engine averages 50mpg and has plenty of power. I applied dinitrol in all the cavities and underside, from new! I avoided metallic at extra cost. My car is in Morning Glory Blue. This particular blue looks awful unless it is highly polished. To resolve this issue - I applied Diamondbrite to my paint and I wax it every three months with the jewelultra kit. The car has 25k on the clock and still looks new, and I guess will remain this way for decades. The ride is very smooth. I replaced the radio with a satnav unit, added side mouldings and alloys. This means my SE has more stuff on it than the top of the range model. And I saved £2k by adding stuff to the cheaper SE model.

Only 5 months old, covered 2000 miles, seems like best car I've owned to date. No complaints so far. I tried various other cars before I bought, definitely the best to drive. Not the cheapest car but worth the extra I believe.

I love it! Nippy little car. I went for top model as it comes with heated seats (wonderful in the winter) and a sunroof. Really pleased how it handles on motorways too. Amazing what can be fitted in the boot. Can seat three youngsters easily in the back. Would definitely recommend it. Only one gripe - reverse gear is not always smooth which I believe is a common characteristic.

I have had test drives on all the cars in this class: VW Up!, Citroen Citigo, Peugeot 107, Toyota Aygo, just to name a few. In my opinion, none of them can beat the Hyundai i10, on price and equipment offered, even on the basic S entry model, the i10 comes out tops. I decided on the top end model, Hyundai i10 Premium 1 litre manual and opted for white, which compliments the black exterior trim to the best advantage. I had my sights set on the demonstrator model, which had the same colour and spec I was after. With its 14" alloy wheels, LED running lights, steering wheel controls for Radio/Bluetooth and cruise control, really makes this car a winner for any small city car, which has more stylish looks than any of the boxier other makes. On the road it handles very well and is much quieter than the more expensive models in the class and is a joy to drive. For a small engine, this car has a fair amount of umph and quickly responds to the throttle when needing to go faster. The interior space is massive for a small car, with more than ample leg room in the front and back. In fact for back seat passengers, this car allows more leg room than any other car in its class, even when the front seats are furthest rearwards. Best car I have had for a long time. I am so glad I chose the i10. and look forward to many years of pleasure in it.

At first I really liked my new car. And it had a good write up in a popular car magazine website. Sadly when just two years old and only about 12,000 on the clock, the gearbox started to get bad to get in some gears and reverse can crunch and grind when clutch correctly away. Also at two years old, the dealer told me the brake discs needed replaced as they were pitted. These two problems also have been reported in other posts here. The rest of the car is good.

Terrible car, wish I had never laid eyes on it! Several issues with rusting paintwork. Brake discs rusted despite being used every day, garage said they had never seen brake discs in such a poor state. I believe in order for this car to be so ridden with rust it must have sat somewhere for many months before being completed and sent to show room. No way could this amount of rust form otherwise. Reverse gear won't engage unless you pump the clutch. Lacks power. Hates the slightest incline. Demister very slow. Awful to drive, so noisy. Company ignores requests to deal with issues until your really stamp your feet. Disgraceful company, feel totally robbed of my savings I will never recoup what this car should be worth.

This Hyundai i10 1.2 SE fits our requirements perfectly. When researching potential replacements for our Mazda 2, I was especially influenced by the lack of serious complaints about reliability and design shortcomings for the i10. The car looks stylish to me. I chose sleek silver paint; a £550 option, which I think really suits the shape but white and morning blue are no cost options. The interior is well assembled. There is no soft touch trim inside but the design looks clean and bright with all of the shut lines close fitting and even. There is very good storage; a decent sized glove box, several useful cubby holes, bottle and cup holders, USB and 12v connections, steering wheel controls for entertainment, trip and cruise functions plus 5 doors with 4 fully opening windows which are standard on all model specifications. It is therefore a very practically equipped vehicle for a cheaper price than obtaining all of these features on many other A segment cars. I especially like the driver information display which has the usual trip computer but includes an outside temperature readout, tyre pressure monitor and an ice warning symbol and alarm which bleeps when the outside temp drops to 4C; a shock when it goes off for the first time when cruising at speed. Now with several thousand miles covered, the Hyundai i10 is proving a very likeable little car in its own right but comparing it to the two cars I have recently owned for 7 and 11 years respectively, there are some surprising similarities. The i10 is exactly the same length and width as our Citroen C2 but can seat 4 average sized adults comfortably and still has a boot as big as the larger Mazda 2 it replaces. The 1.2 Kappa engine also has near identical power and torque as the Mazda 1.3 TS2 but like the Mazda it produces it’s maximum torque at quite high revs; 4000rpm in the 1248cc i10 and it does not pull happily up even a gentle gradient at 30mph in 4th so town driving can lead to frequent gear changes; one of the few irritations. Above 3000 rpm it pulls with increasing flexibility and motorway and dual carriageway cruises are quiet, comfortable and economical. The car is stable and well planted at speed, visibility is good and all of the controls have a well judged cohesion that make this a very pleasant car to drive and a relaxing mode of transport for passengers. It handles well if cornered smoothly. It is not as accurate as the Mazda if driven enthusiastically but the ride is far more comfortable. The gearbox is light and precise and I can claim from experience, a close match for the fabled Mazda manual boxes. The average fuel consumption over several thousand miles is shown on the trip computer as 55mpg. This is a pleasing result as many of the journeys have been short. Longer drives at sustained cruising speeds has the trip showing 58mpg. The seats are very supportive. A spacesaver spare wheel and not a near useless can of foam, is now standard on SE models and above but only a £50 option on the S model. In summary this i10 is rather like driving a 5 door version of our Citroen C2 (an ultra reliable, best pal for eleven and a half years, so far) but with the passenger room, boot space and engine of our belated Mazda 2. Yet, it is much more economical on fuel than either. I really like this car and would put it in the top three of the dozen or so cars I have owned over the past 42 years.

Excellent city car. I put two car seat at the back and still have room for an small adult in the middle. Fuel economy is the best I've ever had. The acceleration is modest but good for a 1.2 This is my first hyundai the service centre around London is second to none. So when I plan to upgrade to a more powerful car I'll stay with hyundai. The drive can has a little oversteer but can be fun when you get use to it. Best little car around

Have owned my present i10 1.0l petrol since March 2014. It has just done 20,000 miles. Get 50 + mpg all day long. Present average reading on trip computer reads 60.4 mpg after around 300 miles of driving. Plenty of tread left on all tyres despite 20,000 miles. £20 road tax. No problems at all since purchase. It came with a 3 year service package which I will renew on expiry, as it is good value for money. It is very nice to drive, very quiet, with unbelievable power from a 1 litre engine. Plenty of room inside and the rear seats fold flat leaving loads of space in the back. Very low running costs and Japanese levels of quality and reliability. Fantastic value for money

We have the new shape i10. We were impressed by the Hyundai garage, the staff were really helpful and we were offered a test drive there and then, ( no other garage had done this )we wanted a Premium model as we felt with all the extras it was the best value for money and best looking. We much preferred the new shape it was a bit more trendy and solid looking and had a good safety rating for a small car, Hyundai managed to reserve one that was in transit for us to collect in less than 2 weeks. I had never been in a Hyundai before and drive a high end German car myself. The car felt roomy inside even for 4 tall adults and drove really well. I was surprised by the build quality which was good and the ride and handling were great. The brakes are a little sharp but easy to get used too. The Bluetooth kit and controls on the steering wheel are a must. If the 1.2 ltr had had a new engine I might have looked at that but understood that it had the same engine as the old 1.2 whereas the 1.0 was a completely new engine. The car was bought for our teenagers really who had only just passed their test and so the insurance group 1 was a godsend. We had quotes of about £13,000 for most other cars, new and second hand but the i10 came in at £1,800. I feel happy that they are in a safe little car and look cool too. The only thing I would have a little moan about is the material on the seats is a little thin, I'm not sure how long it will look good for.

Happy with this car until its first MOT. I was mortified when mechanics sent me pictures of the corroded back brake discs. Having read the other reviews, shouldn't this serious matter be looked into? I'm extremely dissatisfied with the car now & feel wary about safety & maintenance costs.

A surprising little gem which has delighted my wife too. Has more than enough oomph, adequate space, versatile, looks good and saves me money. This is my umpteenth Hyundai, this one mainly used by wife as I have a Santa Fe. Before retirement I was a motoring writer and remember around the turn of this century first sampling Hyundais at press launches when along with Skoda and Kia they were still being sneered at. There were a lot of badge snobs at that time. They've had the last laugh with big sales since then and seem more reliable than many others. Worth buying.

A very nice comfortable, quiet, car. Mpg is averaging about 55mpg. I like the light steering which is easy in town but also holds a straight line very well at speed on the motorway, my previous car needed constant correction on the motorway and felt like a very short small car, where the I10 does not. The SE has cruise control and I use it all the time. I was very impressed by the seats, they're much better than in other similar cars. The ride is pretty good for a small car, it soaks up most bumps nicely yet the car does not lean at all when thrown into corners and also handles surprisingly well. It would be hard to know what you could do to improve this car. It feels like a bigger car and is very comfortable on long journeys.

I owned this car from July 2017 to Jan 2018. It had a nice style inside and out, but overall I'm not happy. It had 3 Major problems. A useless handbrake (disc brakes on the back), a rattly, chattery engine and a knotty transmission. My dealer experience was awful, too.

At first I was quite impressed, but became a little perturbed by the need to change down for even the slightest gradient if trying to maintain a 30 or 40mph speed limit - even worse if carrying a passenger. I thought it might be due to the clutch, which 'went' completely after only 24,000 miles, but was no better after having a new clutch fitted. The biggest problem, though, was fuel economy. I can't remember exactly the mpg stated in the spec - it was something like 38-56 for local driving, and 48 upwards for a combination of local and longer distance trips. Try what I may, and in spite of about half the mileage being on a motorway, I could never get more than 37 mpg out of it - not nearly good enough for the 'sensible' car I wanted after treating myself to a 'fun' one for the previous couple of years.

This is a superb car, it does everything we wanted. It's very quiet, rides bumps and pot holes superbly, equipment great, but I miss having cruise control. The fuel economy isn't very good; but is offset by the superb gearbox with unobtrusive changes, that cannot be detected when being gentle on throttle. I would have a wider better colour range, but I opted for white as it's the only one I liked.

A nice little car. Inexpensive to run and reliable. Not a car for Top Gear presenters and similar petrol heads. It has its niggles. Mine is a non functioning Idle Stop Go. The dealers excuses are like something out of Fawlty Towers and would be hysterical had I not spent so much of my hard earned cash buying it. They are currently ignoring me. It seem a standard problem with Hyundai and its dealers. 9/10 for the car. 1/10 and a big raspberry for Hyundai and its dealers. Its back to Seat next time who I found to have great customer after sales care.

I rather like this little car which I bought when my beloved but aged Seat Ibiza decided to commit suicide. This is an inexpensive car that comes with a surprising amount of kit on it as standard - to much to list (but you can read all about it on the Hyundai site). It feels roomy and quite luxurious compared to what I am used to. I particularly like the speed limiter which I use all the time. It keeps me safe from PC Plod when I am having a Walter Mitty moment and think I am at Brands Hatch. True it is not a babe magnet (but as a 62 year old married man, alas that is no longer an issue), it is unlikely to break any speed records and as a dragster it is hopeless. It seems quiet economical, comfortable, is waterproof in the rain, warm in the winter and its air conditioning keeps it cool on the occasional hot days that we have. The radio is not brilliant - its volume fluctuates and reminds me of the one that I fitted to my Austin Metro in my distant youth. The turning indicator rarely cancels itself and its volume level is no good to anyone whose hearing is less than perfect (serious safety issues which Hyundai really should address). My only real gripe was with the Idle Stop Go (ISG) which was very slow to settle down and start working properly and with a Hyundai dealership that is in a constant state of denial. There list of excuses would have been very amusing if I had not just spent over £8k with them! Overall though a very good car offering exceptional value for money.

Bought it new in May 2014, after two weeks the drivers electric window console failed so unable to open N/S windows in hottest summer for years, and had to wait a month for replacement. Shortly after engine started losing power mid range but when checked by garage they said it was a peculiarity of the 3 cylinder engine and there was nothing wrong with it, BUT it has never missed a beat since! Got to October and had to use the heated rear screen for first time. The bottom third of the window does not demist and upon inspection the element has five sections with broken elements. Contacted Main office to moan about having another 50 mile round trip to dealer as they won't take your word that the window is faulty then another wait for the part from Korea then another 50 mile trip to have it replaced. They have offered me a tankful of petrol as compensation but its still a waste of a half day each time. But I must say I do like the car, the engine is nippy, does over 80 on the motorway and averages around 45 MPG. Let's hope no more problems!

A belting little car, could drive it all day long, very good seating position, very good seats, NO bum or back ache, I have the new gen model with spare wheel & cruise control, only had it about 3 weeks pleased with MPG and pulling power for such a small engine, the last petrol car I had was about 3 or 4 years ago a Ford 1.25 (no better then 45 MPG ) and couldn't pull the skin off a rice pudding, this i10 is far better, I have nothing to complain about with this car.

Had this car from new for my daughter to learn in and as a general runaround. It has been a bit of a star, fun to drive and laughably cheap to run, you have to be patient with a full load going up a hill , but the point of this car is just how easy it is to live with. On motorways it is impressively grown up, and surprisingly spacious. Initially the gearbox was sticky in reverse but that has loosened up , true we only do low mileage but after 5 years it has never needed the attention of the garage other than routine services.

I have been very pleased with this car, it is quiet even at 70mph, cruise control is really useful. We recently went touring in Northumberland and Scotland, no problem, tank range is 400 - 450 which is good. I might try a Picanto next as they are bringing out a 1.0 turbo, I think the i10 would benefit from this engine in the next generation.

This car surprises me with how good it is, it does not drive as you would expect it to. The quality throughout is excellent, especially the alloy wheels which are far more expensive looking than you would expect for a car of this price. The drive is good, the engine is so quiet, you often forget it is running. The brakes are really smooth and so powerful, as it has discs front and rear, although if you suddenly brake a little harder they stab on with tremendous force, presumably because the electronics decide you are in an emergency and override you to apply maximum braking. The 1.2 litre engine develops its power and torque above 4000 rpm and as such the car never pulls with any urgency unless you are willing to keep the revs up high, which most average drivers probably aren't. The gear change is very nice, although, as other reviews have mentioned, it occasionally crunches, which is not nice, what is going on there Hyundai ? Please tell us. The steering feels perfect, just the right weight and feedback. This car is quiet and refined on the move. The suspension is a real strong point, it rides all road surfaces very well and absorbs road imperfections impressively. Handling is good unless you push it excessively and try to treat it like a rally car. The interior is super quality, although the driver's seat doesn't completely suit my build, but that is personal. I am managing to average always more than 50 mpg, with mainly short journeys. The ventilation system is a tad noisier than other cars I have driven. Boot is bigger than you would think for a car this size and a useful shape. The driving position is ideal and visibility is good. impressive what this car gives you for your money.

Knew nothing about Hyundais and this would not have been a make I would normally have looked at. However it was recommended to me as the best small engined automatic on the market. Managed to get a really great deal online on what was the most expensive car in the range and needed a train journey to pick it up. Having been driving for 50 years this is one classy car for its size - very well built and everything works. I bought the i10 as a small car but it does not drive as a small car - with a wide track it is very stable and feels safe even at high motorway speeds. The automatic is conventional and faultless. My wife loves the keyless operation not having to find her key providing it is in the depths of her handbag. The four doors of this compact model make this an easy vehicle in daily use - coats, bags and shopping quickly deposited on the back seat but rear seating is also quite adequate occasional use by adults. This car has sunroof and blue tooth handsfree - both worth going for. Only thing I do not like much is a blue plastic dash trim - a bit bright for my taste and could have been done better. If you want a small comfortable conventional automatic, without CVT and with a four cylinder engine, this is your car.

Having owned a Toyota Yaris for twelve years a change was needed think i got my money's worth out of it. This time i wanted a more economical car i.e. road tax the big well after months of checking reviews online finally went for test drive at Hyundai saltmarine in Dungannon. Customer service was great no pushing the young chap respected us had a quick drive, and fell in love with the i10, there was an offer of £1,000 off as this was September when i made my purchase so obviously was old stock car great and with my trade in paid £7,300. To sum up have had car for nine months i live in the country so most of my driving is on country roads, car is great getting 58mpg with average speed of 26mph so well pleased wife is about to pass her test and this is going to be a great car for her first drive especially with the insurance class. Carbuyers review was excellent does was it says in the video.

I have now owned this car for 4 months and covered 3,800 miles. The car is relatively well made and comfortable, although I have a quite rattle behind the instrument cluster that I can't put my finger on. The 1.0 engine is, in my opinion a nice, quiet engine having used other 1.0 3cyl units in the past. However, fully loaded and up long hills is a painful, 5,000rpm 2nd gear affair and my 8year old Citroen C1 that I owned before this car seemed to pack more punch! I am aware that the car was not designed for this though. I recently did a 4 hour 200-mile motorway cruise which the car managed perfectly, cruising at 75 whilst managing 56mpg with 3 adults and all of our luggage and we were all comfortable. The car is extremely well equipped, and I don't think it can be beaten on the basics but the A/C can be a bit like an asthmatic blowing through a straw when the engine is under stress and can also make the engine quite jerky. There also seems to be an alarming amount of brake dust on the wheels despite extensive weekly cleaning? I find the interior a little dull compared to some rivals as well. My main issue, though, is a crunchy gear change that my dealer tried to fix by adjusting the clutch cable but hasn't worked very well. It just feels as though the gear selector is wearing down every time I change. Other than this major issue though, and me over-exerting the tiny engine, in my opinion there isn't a better, more refined quiet, spacious city car with big-car feel available on the market - I do love it, and the added bonus of stop and go that I wasn't aware was fitted works a treat.

Great value for money on purchase price, but beware -needs expensive annual service (not just an inspection), irrespective of mileage, to maintain 5-yr warranty and in our case means an expensive oil change at 5000 miles, as opposed to every 2 years on our other cars. Will cost more to service over 5 years than my BMW. Minor boot light electrical problems proving difficult to fix.

I absolutely love this car. I bought it after reading positive reviews. My diesel Focus was starting to cost me money, and no longer needed to fit a pushchair in the boot. This fitted the bill perfectly; spacious inside, well specced, minimal tax and insurance group 1 (I keep my cars a long time and I wanted something my son could learn to drive in in 5 years time). I am constantly amazed at how comfortable it is to drive. It does not feel like a small car. It cruises easily at 70-80 on the motorway and is really nippy around town. Added bonus is the fact that it has 5 proper seat belts and headrests and plenty of headroom. Great as my boys get bigger. I was worried it would be slow with 4 or 5 people in it, but that hardly makes a difference. On paper it is quite slow for 0-60, but in reality it doesn't feel slow. Really quick 0-30, and will go up a moderately sloped hill at 60mph in 5th without the need to change down. I went for the highest spec, which means it has cruise control amongst other things. The alloy wheels are gorgeous, much nicer than the usual bog standard ones. The brakes are great. I love the steering wheel controls and the Bluetooth. This is the new model i10, which, as friends have said, is really cute and sporty looking. I would not have considered the previous model on looks alone! However, Hyundai have got it right with this one, and it is sure to fly off the shelves, as it should appeal to young city drivers.

My car died suddenly and I needed a vehicle. I went into my local rental place and asked for any small car/van whatever they had available. They gave me an i10. I had never ever considered a Hyundai before, but this car was perfect for me. I hired it for one week, and then extended it for another. At that point I decided I wanted one! My local dealer had one that was just a year old, low mileage, at a good price so I now have owned it for a few weeks. I really can't say anything bad about it.

The i10 1.2 automatic is very nippy around town and not scared of motorways! It easily sits at 70mph, I have made 200 mile journeys without any problems, my car is now 4 years old with 22k on its clock. I did have problem where sometimes it would not start, this was fixed by replacing the wiring harness, since then I've had no major issues, the only problem I am having is the dreaded dashboard rattle in colder weathers. For a car that can carry five with five doors and a 1.2 auto engine nobody can beat that price. Costs around £35 for a full tank of petrol, its well put together and solid chassis, however for a car thats built on a budget you can tell in some places like the hard solid plastic door trims and dashboard, the parcel shelf is thin also and can also rattle, but this is easily fixed wìth some foam.

As a Discovery 4 driver this i10 is a revelation. I previously had a 2002 Polo 1.9 TDi PD, which had covered 110,000 miles on original clutch and easily achieved 60mpg+ but I need a modern city car that i could tow behind a motorhome. This i10 is a superb car, with all the bells a whistles of an expensive larger car. The gearbox is a joy to use, comfortable, enjoyable to drive, powerful enough, economical, solid, cheap to insure, roomy and has 5 seats plus its 5 year unlimited mileage. The infotainment system connects to my iPhone via CarPlay giving a range of facilities. I will also buy the 5 year service pack. The only small niggles so far are that the audible indicator sound is not loud enough, although the engine is remarkably quiet. Wind noise is low, too. However, the speedometer is over reading by about 5mph (I've checked it against three separate sat nav systems). Also, the car would really benefit from the steering wheel having reach adjustment. I have the Driver assist pack and the car is in white with the red interior and I have had the GardX exterior and interior treatments. The car looks stunning. What is there to dislike about this great little city car? Nothing at all. Oh and no, I do not have any connections to Hyundai! Just a very astute driver looking for value for money and the i10 ticks all the boxes. My experience of this car shows that you should not believe all that the car reviewers say. Must be the best city car available.

After testing city cars from other makes, the i10 stood out from the others as the nicest place to be, especially for 4 occupants. It drives at least as well as the others, and offered the best value for money. The Go was a special edition, with many of the features of the top of the range car, but the price of an SE. The group 1 insurance was a selling point for me, allowing the novice drivers in family to be added to the policy. The car has performed perfectly since new. It is a really quiet and comfortable city car. Motorway performance is surprisingly good too. 60mpg is possible on a long run but I've averaged 47mpg on mostly urban trips. My only criticism would be that the bases of the front seats are too inclined, I'd prefer them to be flatter but they don't adjust.

Fantastic. Nothing has broken on it in 3 years and 34000 miles, not even a headlamp bulb blown. Great to to drive and very spacious. Now handed onto our daughter who uses it for her 50 mile daily commute. The best car we've owned if you can get over badge snobbery.

Unbelievably excellent little car. This is our 6th Hyundai between my wife and me (I have a new Tuscon 1.7 Premium) but I equally love driving this little car. It is so comfortable and smooth, so well equipped and brilliantly easy and enjoyable to drive. The little 1.0 engine is fantastically smooth, willingly free revving. Yes, you may have to change gears a bit more but the gearbox is a delight. I drove it recently to Dublin and back, over 200 miles return trip where the Republic motorway speed limit is 85mph!) with 3 of us, back seat part folded & all loaded up to the gills and it coped fantastically. My wife had two previous old style I10s over the years and experienced no problems either but this new model is a dramatic improvement. Thoroughly recommend.

The car has given me 3 years of trouble free motoring. Reliable, surprisingly comfortable, and unusually refined for such a small car it drives like a much larger car. The 1.2 litre engine is more than powerful enough for forays onto the motorway. No real niggles other than the lack of a SATNAV which has been corrected in the 2017 model. The tyre pressure warning system can also be over sensitive. Overall, the I10 os exceptional value for money and I am replacing it with the latest model.

Driving: Lovely and handles great Gearbox: Good close-mesh gear change Brakes: Sharp when braking but will get used to it Parking Brake: Virtually USELESS. If vehicle is on a steep slope, it tends to creep. If hand brake is applied as an emergency brake, the vehicle will take a while to stop Engine: 1.0 three cylinder engine has an overrun rattle on deceleration which can be noticeable at times and annoying. Clutch: Clutch is fitted with a cable and had no clearance from new which would have caused early clutch problem. It should have been fitted with an hydraulic system.

Good all-round car. Engine does have a vibration at about 1200 rpm when idling and has a 'overrun' rattling noise when deacelerating. Indicators need to be more audible. A/C automatically switches on when adjusted to screen mode. Has to be switched off manually if not needed.

This is most likely the worst car I have ever owned. It has absolutely no power below 2,500 rpm and if you keep the revs up to keep the car moving at any pace, the petrol consumption drops to the low 30s mpg. It also has no hill climbing ability as a couple of days ago I went over to Sheffield and going over the Pennine roads it could barely do 40mph. I am not a boy racer and regularly use my wife's Chevrolet Spark which handles better, uses far less petrol and, although very basic, is a far better car.

Great car. I've had it since new - eight months ago. It's superbly comfortable, quiet, roomy, and a real joy to drive. My driving is all urban driving - a maximum of ten miles between stops. Great fuel consumption at 55 MPG, and the three-year service plan is sensible. I cannot find one fault, but a DAB radio would have been good. Such great value compared to comparable cars like VW and Skoda etc.

Bought car used after being forced to downsize from the fabulous i30. I had an i10 Active a few years ago which was very good but the standard equipment on this Style model is far better than pretty much all of previous cars! Having A/C is always great but there's something about a sunroof in the summer! And the heated seats are really starting to come into their own now that winter is on its way. The extra body detailing on the higher spec model make it look a little less nerdy which is handy for a chap :) Car has only let me down once due to a faulty firing spark plug unit but the excellent 5 years RAC cover and Hyundai warranty service made the experience much more bearable. Have had a couple of issues such as noises/creaking on the suspension which Hyundai promptly fixed and I am currently awaiting the arrival of a new clutch which Hyundai claim is an updated version on the usual one that is fitted which should hopefully resolve those clutch related issues that many people seem to experience with this type of vehicle. MPG average of 45 since buying is not too bad, lower than what Hyundai claim but when a tank lasts me two weeks or so and costs less than £40 to fill, I'm not complaining. Overall, a good little car with great equipment that is relatively cheap to run and drives well. Will be happy to keep it for another year or two before looking at upgrading to the new i10 or i20.

Very happy with this car just one thing wrong did not have the option of a spare wheel, I got stuck with foam/compressor. Tried for weeks on e-bay to get a steel wheel for a spare to no avail, spoke to a local agarage and in turn he has ordered me a brand new wheel for this model. Well made up now the i10 SE has everything at last.
