A nice car. Happy with MPG. I manage to get as high as 50MPG on a steady motorway run and average about 40MPG elsewhere. Suspension can be a bit hard but I suppose that's the price you pay for a sports suspension and low profile tyres.

This coupe is better than the last 2012, but still has a lot of issues. It looks great and drives smoother. Still has pulling effects which BMW and Audi does not. Although it's got direct or electric steering. Noisy interior. Headlamps have misting issue and the dealer says that its a natural scientific issue. what rubbish, is that.. The transmission has minor issues which i think is an issue but again the dealer does not. From N to D it vibrates and feels as if the auto plates in the gear box are struggling to engage. Bad customer services from Mercedes Benz. I would not buy any Mercedes vehicle in the future and suggest people not to buy buy any Mercedes Benz as this is my 4th car and all have been an utter loss. I have driven GOLF, BMW, AUDI which prove far much better in driving standards when compared to a Mercedes Benz.

Turbo boost hose collapsed. 2x ABS.sensors failed. Drivers window screatches when wet. Dashboard makes loud cracking noise.

Once you get to know how to use the numerous advanced features it is a great car, but the learning curve can be quite steep. Mechanically the car is comfortable, quiet, fuel efficient and nice to drive. The support in setting up and interfacing with my mobile phone, an essential step to accessing some of the car's more advanced features, was not good however and I had to resolve the problems myself. The dealer had diagnosed a faulty command unit and was about to replace it. As it turned out this was neither necessary nor the answer to the problem. Check that your phone is one of the models recommended by Mercedes and that it has the latest software version. Have the dealer demonstrate that it works with your vehicle. Check that it connects to Mercedes Me, makes emergency and concierge service calls and controls the remote parking app, if applicable. Check that the car can connect to the Internet, if it has that facility. I would hope that the potential set-up problems will be resolved as dealers learn more about the new vehicles.

I have owned 2 Mercedes cars in the past, all of them pre-2010 examples from the days when they were built properly. This is the only time I have bought an (almost) brand new car, and it was the worst mistake I have ever made in my life! I had the car, an E220 d for 9 months, and lost £6,500 when I was forced to get rid of it. The new era of Mercedes cars are built almost exclusively from plastic. The seats, the interior panels, even a lot of the external body work is all made out of cheap thin plastic. Almost every component of the car constantly squeaks and rattles, I could barely have a conversation inside the car above the noise. I had to take it back to the dealer twice in those 9 months to repair failed parts, and a single service cost me £750. And to top it off, it was the most uncomfortable car I have ever driven. It has a rough ride, and poorly designed seats and foot wells. My legs always started to cramp a few minutes after starting to drive it.

I've owned several Mercedes and this is the best yet. The exterior & interior styling is distinctive and the two tone leather interior really impress. It has the magic combo of being fast but frugal. 42mpg overall, but 50+mpg easily obtained on a long run. The ride is excellent and the road holding is good. The 7-speed auto gearbox is smooth and always in the right ratio. The '250' engine has no turbo lag [unlike the '220'] and has bags of torque. It's a true 4 seater for adults, but access to the rear can be awkward for some. Standard spec is comprehensive, but I added the [opening] panoramic sun roof, reversing camera and speed sign recognition.

Very reliable. Two problems experienced in 2 years. One related to key fob not enabling the ignition when inserted (cleared itself after leaving for an hour) and the other related to rough running on cold start (again, cleared itself after standing for a while)

I took a time deciding on the Merc.. It is such a head turner it draws you in with its levels of opulence that once be. Hind the wheel has you grinning like a Cheshire Cat. When you squeeze on the power and you realise this is a swift GT of immense stature and grace

The e-class coupe is a stylish car with plenty of power and good fuel economy considering the engine size. Although i have always liked mercedes, i have not really wanted to own the ones i could afford due to "old-man styling". The e-class coupe has bucked the trend, offers sleek sporty styling without taking away any of the comfort.

My e350 cdi coupe is a very attractively stlyed car - i love the looks and i think that mercedes is turning out uniquely styled cars right now. The performance is good too, with plenty of shove from the engine combined with the excellent 7-speed auto, superior even to my previous bmw 530d. Driven gently it'll do 30mpg around town and get low to mid 40s on a decent run. Very comfortable seats and surprisingly practical for a 2 door car due to the split/folder rear seats, which allows me to get either my road or mountain bikes in the car. The satnav/command interface works flawlessly (following a software update) as does the ipod interface and bluetooth connectivity. My biggest downer about the car is the poor interior build quality, far less than what i'd expected of a car wearing a 3-pointed star, and worse that the 3 benz's ive previously owned. I've had the car back to the dealer on a couple of occassions to see if the could resolve the odd dash rattle and squleching wipers but they've been unable to resolve this, though i'll try again at its 1st service. Servicing and taxing seems expensive next to bmw as bmws typically have lower co2 emissions and variable service intervals vs. the fixed yearly services need by my e-class coupe. If the interior build quality was upto audi standards i could definately see myself purchasing another benz. As it stands i'm undecided about which manufactuer will be getting my money once my current cars reaches its 3rd birthday.
