Looks good comfortable ,reliable ,very easy to drive could do with slightly better fuel economy only remarks against could have air susp and slightly higher spec for money ( phoney leather etc)

Fantastic - completely reliable, ideal family size car, comfortable, refined, well equipped, good performance given the size/weight, good looking. the only negative point is the fuel consumption and frequent oil top ups

The ml 320cdi is an ideal vehicle for myself as i suffer from painfull arthritis in my knees, and the access and exit is is very important. as is driving position and seat adjustment.

If you decide to purchase one of these, make sure you take out the Mercedes extended warranty, it's expensive but worth every penny! The faults I've experienced have been extensive and would have been expensive if not for the warranty. Parts replaced so far on a vehicle that has still not covered 49K miles: Inlet port shut off motor, turbocharger, gearbox battery, automatic gearbox rebuilt to replace B3 circlip, tailgate latching mechanism, torque converter, rear brake light electrics, passenger seat airbag sensor, accelerator pedal assembly and rear springs. The auto gearbox has been recalibrated numerous times, due to harsh changes. Thankfully all this was repaired under warranty. When it is running without issues it's very comfortable, quick and fairly economical for a large 4x4. The dealers I found to be excellent, especially the one in Sheffield.
