My company agreed to let me buy one as a company car, replacing my previous Ford S Max. We both have saved a lot of tax 99 grams co2 have more than halved my tax bill : ) . Three kids in back smaller boot was concerned for our holidays etc. Slight complaint from eldest daughter in middle of two child seats, but money i`m saving she can always follow in a taxi. Drives really well and 18,000 miles now utterly reliable. Put it in manual select sport and this blows away my wifes 120d BMW, it has bags of torque and the in gear acceleration is startling. Getting about 50 mpg but does have roofbars/bikes on often. I often choose to glide through town on electric easy driving and a pleasure zero emissions rather than longer faster routes. Build quality back seats glove box trim not great but from drivers seat a special place sat nav/ head up display etc. Growing on me got a black one but maybe white looks better we call it "le stealth pig", as does,nt look great but as the manual says beware of pedestrians they cant hear you ! Have only seen two others in 6 months. Good 4x4 driving position and used the 4wd quite a bit in the snow we had February/March (the S max would often get stuck trying to get up the street), not as good as my old Nissan Terrano, but it has,nt got mud and snow tyres. Had it on beach in Scotland and numerous building sites with work, fairly confident it will get me out. Glad I chose it , 120,000 till next car ?

I have had the car for just over 3 months. I remain unimpressed.
It was bought for its capability and economy. It remains a capable car, depending upon what you want, but it's advertised economy is exaggerated. If driven very gently at 55mph on quiet A roads you may get 55mpg at a push. The car is just too heavy. The battery and motor is just a passenger on a run, it's approx 300kg, that's 3 big people in the boot all the time, and you can tell.
It has good points, it's comfortable, it feels solid, it's has lots of goodies, some useful, some not, depending upon what you need. Head up display was a good idea at first, it was switched off after 4 weeks.
The boot space is still good even though some is lost to the battery.
In three months, the electric hand brake has been repaired and front fog lights.
The car is now on a breakdown truck north of London being carried (you cannot tow a hybrid) towards Cumbria. Possible injector failure, we will see when it hits the dealer in Cumbria.
Gearbox also needs checking as it appears to stick in 3rd or 4th gear, which may be responsible for the poor economy. About 50mpg at motorway speeds. In comparison the insignia I received as a courtesy car returned 67mpg at motorway speeds.
I made the wrong choice.

Company car choice that saves me tax because of the 99g CO2. If I had had the cash myself I would have spent it differently, the non-electric version is a lot cheaper and apparently similar mpg - the 70+ claimed fro the Hybrid is a fairy story.
Just turned 20,000 miles and there has never been a problem. Lovely drive in town and on motorway. Very responsive in Sport mode, I've got the additional tweaking of having paddle shift to go manual if I want.
Performed brilliantly in last years snow.
Head up display excellent.
Spooky cruising round multi-storey car parks on electric!
Boot size hasn't been a problem for me.
Very disappointing not to have a DAB radio, annoying that AM is only available via voice command.
Cup holder in a silly place, why only one in the front?
As you can see I only have minor grumbles!
