Toyota Supra coupe - Practicality & boot space
Only two seats, but the Supra’s boot is reasonably practical
Considering the Supra isn’t much bigger than the GT 86 - and has an engine that's half the size again - it's no surprise interior space is fairly tight. There's plenty of adjustment for the comfy front seats, though, and despite the windows being narrow, you can see out of the Supra quite well. Unlike the Audi TTS, there are no back seats at all.
Toyota Supra interior space & storage
Space is at a premium inside the Supra, so while you'll find a generous set of cupholders in the centre console and a conventional glovebox, it lacks big door pockets or storage cubbies. It also has just two seats, so while an Audi TTS can ferry kids in a pinch, the Supra is less versatile.
The front seats are very comfortable at least, and they can be set low to the ground, boosting headroom for taller occupants. The predominant feeling is of being cocooned; anyone of six-foot or more could find there isn't much space to wear a helmet at a track day.
Boot space
Without rear seats to worry about, the boot has been stretched to a fairly generous 290 litres, accessed by a hatchback and with its own dinky parcel shelf to improve refinement. Roughly matching the luggage capacity of a small supermini, it's a car you could use for your weekly shop or for a trip away.
The Cayman has a smaller 275-litre boot but counters with a 150-litre 'frunk', making it more practical overall. Meanwhile, along with its back seats, the Audi TTS has a 305-litre boot.
