Updates to the SEAT Ateca SUV start with the SE and SE Technology trim levels, with DSG automatic gearbox equipped models now getting a leather-trimmed steering wheel fitted as standard.
Above this, the Ateca XPERIENCE Lux is now fitted with SEAT’s Pre-Crash Assist safety suite as standard. This system uses a forward-facing camera to monitor the road ahead to detect a potential collision, and prepares the occupants for the impact by applying the brakes to reduce speed while tightening the seatbelts and closing any open windows.
The larger Tarraco SUV comes with extra technology, too, with SE and SE Technology models getting Adaptive Cruise Control. Both models also get the SEAT Connect telematics suite as standard, which enables owners to monitor their car remotely via a smartphone, and allows them to control certain functions, including the locking and unlocking of the doors.
SEAT Connect also adds an array of online services, including live traffic updates, natural voice recognition and automatic emergency response, which notifies the emergency services in the event of an accident.
