Today’s hot car deal: a sporty SEAT Ateca for £235 a month
Our hot deal for November 24 is a cheap lease on SEAT’s fun-driving mid-size SUV
Here it is car buyers! Our hot deal for today is on a car we’ve rated very highly for a very long time. The SEAT Ateca is a good looking, fun-to-drive mid-size SUV and looks a bit of a bargain on a £235 per month lease.
What’s so good about this SEAT Ateca deal?
Our experts sniffed this one out on the Select Car Leasing website and it amounts to a great deal on a highly accomplished car. The SEAT Ateca 1.0 TSI SE Technology is in stock so there’ll be minimal waiting around. All you need is a £2,115 initial payment then 36 monthly payments of £235.
The mileage limit on this deal is 5,000 miles which is not high so some customers may want to extend it. Bumping it up to 8,000 miles increases the costs to £254 a month after a £2,288 initial payment. In either case, there is also an admin fee of £294.
What’s so good about the SEAT Ateca?
The car on offer here is a SEAT Ateca 1.0 TSI SE Technology. Basically the Ateca’s entry-level engine with the mid-range trim. All Atecas get wireless phone charging and LED lights at both ends but SE Technology adds larger 18-inch alloy wheels, roof rails and chrome window trims. It looks that much better than the standard SE models and inside you also get touchscreen navigation with DAB radio. The equipment list isn’t huge but the key features you’ll use are included.
The 1.0-litre TSI engine is a feisty unit that feels nippy about town and can still return 44.1mpg on the official WLTP combined cycle. The 109bhp power output yields 0-62mph acceleration of 11.3s, so this model isn’t blisteringly quick, but as day-to-day runabout with space for a family and luggage, it will be a great fit.
The Ateca generally is a fine mid-size SUV. It’s always been one of the best-handing models in the class and while the ride can be slightly firm at times, you’ll appreciate the nimble feel it has on the road. We also really like the simple yet stylish design. The interior is unfussy but practical and solidly built.

Anything else I need to know about this deal?
This is a lease deal, often referred to as Personal Contract Hire (PCH), so there’s no option to buy the car at the end of the contract. You are effectively renting the car for the three-year term, but the deal is very flexible so you can adjust the term length, mileage limit and initial payment size to suit. Once the deal is over, you just hand the keys back and start looking for your next car.
Our hot deals are carefully selected by our car buying experts and they are all subject to change. Always read the full terms and conditions and make sure the car and the deal suits your needs before proceeding.
