Skoda Kamiq and Kodiaq SUVs gain new trim levels for 2022
Both cars get a plush new SE L Executive trim; Kodiaq also gains value-focused SE Drive model
- New trims replace SE and SE L versions
- Kodiaq SE Drive available with five or seven seats
- Available to order now
The Skoda Kamiq and Skoda Kodiaq are now available in new trim levels for the upcoming year. The brand has introduced its SE Drive trim to its facelifted Kodiaq, along with an SE L Executive version that promises extra equipment. An SE L Executive trim level is now available on the smaller Kamiq SUV, too.
SE Drive has previously been a special-edition trim level available on some of Skoda’s other models, sitting above the SE, but for the Kodiaq the SE Drive replaces the outgoing SE trim. Standard equipment is more generous than before, with Skoda adding sat nav, Wi-Fi, front parking sensors, a rear-view camera and heated folding door mirrors. There’s also a new set of 18-inch alloy wheels. Prices start at £30,415, with the third row of seats costing extra.

Above this, the Kodiaq SE L Executive replaces the outgoing SE L trim and adds more features. Buyers of this model are treated to bigger alloy wheels, leather upholstery and front seats and mirrors that are both electrically adjustable with memory functions. SE L Executive gets seven seats as standard, with prices starting from £34,275.
Both trim levels can be ordered with 148bhp 1.5-litre petrol or 2.0-litre diesel engines. An automatic gearbox is available, and so is four-wheel drive if you pick the diesel. The SE L Executive can also be had with a 197bhp version of the 2.0-litre diesel, or a 187bhp 2.0-litre petrol engine.
Skoda’s smallest SUV, the Kamiq, has also been tweaked at the same time. It gains a new SE L Executive trim level as well, and this specification starts from £24,465. Standard equipment includes 18-inch alloy wheels, heated front seats, front parking sensors and a reversing camera.
The Kamiq is petrol-only, and the SE L Executive can be paired with a 108bhp 1.0-litre engine or a 148bhp 1.5-litre unit. Both are equipped with a manual gearbox as standard, and an automatic is available as an option.
