Skoda Fabia Estate - Reliability & safety
The Skoda Fabia Estate should be as reliable and safe as every other model in Skoda's range
The Skoda Fabia Estate should follow its hatchback sister’s example of reliable, trouble-free motoring, as it uses proven VW Group technology.
Skoda has placed very well in our Driver Power owner satisfaction survey over the past few years, The Fabia Estate also boasts up-to-date safety technology to keep you out of trouble on the road and protect you in the event of a crash.
Skoda Fabia Estate reliability
The Skoda Fabia was rated fairly strongly for reliability in our 2019 Driver Power owner satisfaction survey of cars currently on sale in the UK. Of the owners who responded, just 11.5% reported experiencing a problem with their car at least once in the first 12 months.
Safety
Every Skoda Fabia Estate has plenty of safety equipment. You’ll find six airbags, front seatbelt reminder buzzers and electronic stability control fitted as standard. Safety body Euro NCAP awarded the hatchback version its maximum five-star crash-test score in a 2014 test and we’d expect the estate to match that.
Front assist (which applies the brakes automatically if it detects you’re in danger of hitting the car in front), was made standard for every trim level when the Fabia Estate was facelifted.
A driver fatigue sensor is a £50 option on SE trims and above, while adaptive cruise control can be fitted to the SE, SE L, Monte Carlo and Colour Edition to make trips less tiring.
