Hot car deal: practical Tesla Model Y EV for £359 a month

Want a quick EV with plenty of practicality? Our hot car deal for January 26th is the Tesla Model Y for just £359 a month

Tesla Model Y deal

In the past decade or so, Tesla has become a household name synonymous with performance-packed electric cars, and the Tesla Model Y combines all that into a practical SUV bodystyle. Compared to the smaller Tesla Model 3 saloon, the Model Y gets a larger hatchback, and it boasts a competitive electric range and access to the brand’s coveted Supercharger network of chargers.

While other electric cars may be starting to catch up in terms of in-car tech and features, Tesla was always very advanced in this respect, and as a result its infotainment system still feels modern. The Tesla Model Y really is the obvious choice when it comes to buying an electric SUV, but it’s all for good reason. It even won our award for Best Company Car in our 2023 and 2024 Carbuyer Best Car Awards.

What’s so good about this Tesla Model Y deal?

This deal from Select Car Leasing lets you cover up to 5,000 miles a year with an initial payment of £3,229.20, then monthly payments of £358.80 over a two-year term. If necessary, you can tweak this deal to increase annual mileage, add in servicing and routine maintenance for £15.86 a month, or increase the term length to suit you.

What’s so good about the Tesla Model Y?

Tesla Model Y deal

The Tesla Model Y benefits from the same underpinnings as the rapid Tesla Model 3. Even in rear-wheel drive single-motor guise, this Model Y has an impressive 6.6-second 0-62mph acceleration time. Range is good too, with up to 283 miles between charges. Although the interior appears very minimalist, the Tesla Model Y is well equipped, with features such as a reversing camera, heated seats and steering wheel and a hi-tech 15-inch infotainment system through which all of its features are accessed. The latter also turns into a media centre when you’re parked up, with access to video streaming and games.

About this lease deal…

About the car…

  • Monthly payments: 24 x £358.80
  • Initial payment: £3,229.20
  • Fee: £294
  • Mileage limit: 5,000 miles

Anything else I need to know about this deal?

This is a lease deal, often referred to as Personal Contract Hire (PCH), so there’s no option to buy the car at the end of the contract. You are effectively renting the car for the two-year term, but the deal is very flexible so you can adjust the term length, mileage limit and initial payment size to suit, but only at the outset. Once the deal is over, you just hand the keys back and start looking for your next car.

Our hot deals are carefully selected by our car buying experts and they are all subject to change. Always read the full terms and conditions and make sure the car and the deal suits your needs before proceeding.
