Today’s hot car deal: the iconic Vauxhall Corsa for just £156 per month!
Our hot deal for January 4th is the Vauxhall Corsa – a car that feels good to drive and economical to run
The Vauxhall Corsa is a strong household name, and the latest generation has proved to be one of the UK’s best-selling cars thanks to low running costs, a nicer interior compared to the old car, and a reasonable amount of equipment. It feels good to drive and refined, too, meaning the Corsa is a great all-round supermini.
What’s so good about this Vauxhall Corsa deal?
This deal from leasing.com allows you to cover up to 5,000 miles per year, which is a reasonable distance, especially if you’re using the car mainly around town. There’s an initial payment of £1,602.81, followed by affordable monthly payments of £155.98. If you find you do need a higher annual mileage, you can up this to 10,000 and the monthly payments only increase by around £30.
The best small cars and superminis in 2024
The Vauxhall Corsa recently underwent a facelift, but these mostly consisted of some minor exterior styling tweaks and changes to the infotainment system, so we think this new pre-facelift model from stock is still a great buy.
It comes in mid-spec GS trim, meaning it gets a reverse camera, front and rear parking sensors, lane departure warning and assist, a blind spot warning, a seven-inch digital gauge cluster, and a 10-inch infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility, as well as other features.
This model comes with 75bhp provided by a tried and tested 1.2-litre petrol engine that’s been used in models sold by sister brands, such as the Peugeot 208 and Citroen C3. It’s pretty frugal, with an official fuel economy figure of up to 51mpg, and sits in a relatively low insurance group 12, so it should be cheap to insure.
What’s so good about the Vauxhall Corsa?
The Vauxhall Corsa has long been a household name, and this is the most advanced model yet. Vauxhall completely overhauled the Corsa this time around, building it alongside other well-known models such as the Peugeot 208 and Citroen C3, sharing the best parts of those cars, such as their economical engines. Build quality is much improved this time around, too, and the interior feels like a more sturdy and mature place to be as a result.
The Corsa stands out because it’s also great to drive, and more practical than the one that came before it – this generation is only available in five-door guise, making access for rear passengers much easier. The boot’s bigger than the Corsa that came before, too, with a reasonable 309 litres.

Anything else I need to know about this deal?
This is a lease deal, often referred to as Personal Contract Hire (PCH), so there’s no option to buy the car at the end of the contract. You are effectively renting the car for the two-year term, but the deal is very flexible so you can adjust the term length, mileage limit and initial payment size to suit but only at the outset. Once the deal is over, you just hand the keys back and start looking for your next car.
Our hot deals are carefully selected by our car buying experts and they are all subject to change. Always read the full terms and conditions and make sure the car and the deal suits your needs before proceeding.
