Today’s hot car deal: spacious Vauxhall Grandland for £238 per month
Our hot deal for November 29 is a stylish and spacious family car, yours for less than £250 per month
We spotted this deal on Leaseloco.com, and we think it's a steal for such a well-rounded family car. £238 per month gets you behind the wheel of the top-spec ‘Ultimate’ trim Grandland, complete with all the kit that you’d normally struggle to find with a budget leasing deal, including an automatic gearbox.
An upfront payment of £1,427 seems reasonable (plus £300 in fees) and the monthly payments are spread over two years.
Mileage is limited to 5,000 miles per year which, for some, may seem a little low – but it should suit anyone who works from home, or only needs to pop into town and to see friends and relatives. The monthly payment jumps fairly rapidly when mileage limits are increased – a limit of 8,000 miles per year will cost £294 per month, and a 10,000 mile limit will set you back £331 per month – but you can adjust monthly and upfront payments to find a deal you’re happy with.
What’s so good about the Vauxhall Grandland?
The Grandland is the king of Vauxhall’s SUV range, sitting above the smaller Crossland and Mokka. It was subject to a major overhaul in 2021, bringing new interior tech and a refreshed face, complete with Vauxhall’s black ‘Visor’ front-end look.
The specific model available in this deal is the ‘Ultimate’ trim, with a 1.2-litre turbocharged engine and an automatic gearbox, good for an official 44.1mpg. It’s no sports car, but in our testing we found this engine to be the pick of the range – it’s smooth, punchy and quiet.
Being the top-spec trim level, the Grandland Ultimate is packed with all the interior features you could need. There’s an excellent 12-inch digital driver’s display alongside a central 10-inch infotainment touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Space in the rear seats is excellent and, while the Peugeot 3008 may have a marginally bigger boot, the Grandland can fit plenty of luggage with its 514 litres of storage space (drop the seats and this grows to 1,652 litres).

Anything else I need to know about this deal?
This is a lease deal, often referred to as Personal Contract Hire (PCH), so there’s no option to buy the car at the end of the contract. You are in effect renting the car for a fixed two-year term, but the deal is very flexible at the beginning so you can adjust the term length, mileage limit and initial payment size to suit. Once the contract ends, you just hand the keys back and start looking for your next car.
Our hot deals are carefully selected by our car buying experts and they are all subject to change. Always read the full terms and conditions and make sure the car and the deal suits your needs.
