Hot car deal: versatile Vauxhall Grandland SUV for just £148 a month

Our hot car deal for March 8th is 12 months and 10,000 miles with the family-friendly Vauxhall Grandland SUV – for a bargain £148 a month

Vauxhall Grandland tracking

The Vauxhall Grandland is a great family car; it’s comfortable and easy to drive, offers plenty of space and a generous amount of standard kit, while it’s solidly built, too. Admittedly, the Grandland (formerly Grandland X) has suffered from a bit of an image problem in the past, but this facelifted car delivers much sharper looks and improved interior tech. If you’re after a flexible, family motor at a competitive price, then this 12-month Vauxhall Grandland deal is certainly worth considering.

What’s so good about this Vauxhall Grandland deal?

This one-year deal from LeaseLoco lets you cover up to 10,000 miles, with an initial payment of £1,770.72, then monthly payments of £147.56. There is flexibility to increase the length of the lease or the agreed mileage limit, but you’ll pay more if you choose to do so. For example, doubling the term to two years means you’ll need an extra £92.68 each month, while upping the mileage to 15,000 miles will attract a further £26.28 to each instalment.

Vauxhall’s top-spec Ultimate trim offers an outstanding level of standard equipment, including 19-inch alloy wheels, adaptive LED headlights, a power tailgate, keyless entry and start, adaptive cruise control, a 360-degree parking camera, a heated front screen, black Alcantara upholstery, a smartphone wireless charging function and twin digital displays; one 12-inch screen providing driver information, and a 10-inch colour touchscreen covering the infotainment system which features integrated sat-nav.

Power comes from a 1.2-litre petrol engine producing 128bhp via an eight-speed automatic transmission, while fuel economy is decent enough, with Vauxhall claiming you should see up to 44.1mpg on a mixture of roads.

What’s so good about the Vauxhall Grandland?

If you’re after a set of family wheels that offers plenty of interior space, decent comfort and useful practical touches that make family life a little easier, then the Grandland is a solid choice. Vauxhall has performed a good job in sharpening up the Grandland’s exterior look, while it remains just as versatile and easy to drive.

Anything else I need to know about this deal?

This is a lease deal, often referred to as Personal Contract Hire (PCH), so there’s no option to buy the car at the end of the contract. You are effectively renting the car for the one-year term, but the deal is very flexible so you can adjust the term length, mileage limit and initial payment size to suit, but only at the outset. Once the deal is over, you just hand the keys back and start looking for your next car.

Our hot deals are carefully selected by our car buying experts and they are all subject to change. Always read the full terms and conditions and make sure the car and the deal suits your needs before proceeding.
