Alfa Romeo Stelvio Veloce Ti sprints to the top of the range
New Stelvio Veloce Ti trim level brings styling borrowed from the high-performance Quadrifoglio model
- Veloce Ti trim level introduced for the first time
- Specific styling tweaks
- 276bhp petrol engine
A new Alfa Romeo Stelvio Veloce Ti model will join the rest of the range early next year. It adds Quadrifoglio-inspired styling to the 276bhp petrol engine from the existing Veloce model. Prices and full specs will be revealed in January 2021, and the new Veloce Ti should go on sale shortly after.
Marking the Veloce Ti out is a new rear bumper incorporating a diffuser to channel air and improve handling. There’s also a sporty body kit, plus a new set of black 21-inch alloy wheels that can be added as an optional extra. The attractive five-spoke wheels will be an option on other Stelvio models later on. Matching the black wheels is a set of black exterior trim pieces and tinted rear windows.
Inside, you get aluminium gearshift paddles borrowed from the 503bhp Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio. The sporty feel continues with upgraded seats trimmed in leather and Alcantara suede, plus carbon-fibre trim pieces and a black headlining.
For the 2021 model year, Alfa Romeo will roll out an enhanced suite of connectivity features. Through your phone you’ll be able to lock/unlock the car remotely, see where it’s parked, see how it’s being driven and be alerted if it’s stolen. You can also send a sat nav destination to the car, plus monitor the condition of the vehicle.
Like the Veloce, the new Veloce Ti uses a 276bhp 2.0-litre petrol engine and Alfa’s Q4 four-wheel-drive system, which returns a 0-62mph time of 5.7 seconds and up to 30mpg. The Veloce is also available with a 2.2-litre diesel engine but you won’t be able to choose it on the Ti.
