How does the car finance calculator work?
All you have to do is complete the simple car finance calculator form. Carbuyer and our partner Motiv will do the rest.
You can get quotes for a specific car you’re interested in by inputting the registration or use the tool to find out what you can borrow before starting your car search.
Our car finance calculator will find quotes from leading UK finance providers including big names like RAC, Zopa, Creditplus, Oodle, Moneybarn, My Car Credit, Bamboo and CarFinance247.
You’ll be presented with various types of car finance deal including personal loans, Hire Purchase (HP) and Personal Contract Purchase (PCP). From there, all you have to do is pick the quotes that suit you. In each case, we'll give you the monthly payments you'll need to make, the APR interest rate and all other relevant information on the finance package as well as an estimated percentage likelihood that you'll be accepted, based on the information submitted.
From there, you can go directly to the finance provider and arrange the deal from the tool or use the quotes as a basis for negotiation with the seller when you find the car you want.
Why should I use the car finance calculator?
As we’ve already said, ours is a car finance comparison tool that saves you the legwork of getting quotes from individual finance providers. With this calculator tool you fill in one form and find out what the best offers are from a wide cross section of the UK car finance market.
What you do next is completely up to you. The range of lenders included and the fact that you’re going directly to the finance provider means that there’s a good chance you’ll find deals that are better than those offered by dealers.
As always, we’d encourage you to carefully consider your options to work out which deal is best for you. There is no obligation to act on any of the quotes in our finance calculator, no impact on your credit score and your details are always secure.
