Only had my Ceed since May 2019, what a lovely car! Good on fuel, plenty of room inside. I like everything about it and would recommend this car.

The all new Ceed sport wagon is great value for money, I am getting 59.3mpg typically and that’s a mixture of A roads and motorways with aircon used half the time. The 2 model doesn’t come with sat nav but the very reactive 7” touch screen integrates very well with android phones and uses android auto to turn your 7” display into a sat nav. The standard equipment is plentiful with lane assist keeping you between the white lines, auto dimming high beam etc. Handling is great, the small 1.6 diesel has a little bit of poke when pushed. It suffers from a lot of road noise on the motorway and assume this is because I have the eco pack with the eco tyres. For base model Astra and focus money you can get the Ceed with all the mod cons as standard.

Owned the car for approx four weeks and covered 1200 miles. Though the car looks appealing and I was impressed during the test drive, during my first few weeks of ownership I'm a bit disappointed. Firstly I find the ride harsh on the 17-inch wheels and the steering vague. The acceleration is ok, but won't set the world on fire but this was not what I was looking for. The dealer played a blinder on me and I test drove the petrol first edition with all the bells and whistles, but ended up with the 3rd edition. One of my major gripes is the cruise control that fluctuates no matter how you set it. So basically the car is jerking around ever so slightly but and after a few miles motion sickness for the passengers takes its toll (it's booked into have this looked at). The standard headlights on the 3rd edition one below the first edition are halogen and are useless after previously having LED on my previous car. The car has annoying chimes and bongs every time you put the key in the ignition and the useless buttons on the fob situated on the edge make finding them in the dark an effort (the first has keyless entry and power tailgate). The finish in the cockpit is acceptable but could be better abundance of cheap shiny plastics though durable and appear well screwed together. The large display is floating and is easy to use and touch screen responsive. TOM TOM sat Nav comes as standard. The car comes with lane assist as standard that is active at 35mph plus this can be deactivated but this has to be redone every time you start the car. The model has a rear view camera and rear parking sensors but none on the front which is annoying so its reverse parking most of the time. At the moment the car is returning 57 to 60 MPG mainly urban and motorway so not far off the expected. Well its a KIA and you do get a 7 year warranty for peace of mind but make sure you give it a good test drive before committing (lesson learnt).

I spent time searching for the new car right for us. It needed to be comfortable, easy to drive and reliable. The shortlist was the Ford Focus Estate and the Kia Ceed Sports wagon First Edition. I have made the right choice and can honestly say that the Kia is an excellent car .

Beautiful car with stunning performance from a 1.4 petrol engine. Pity about the auto gearbox failure to change up on motorway. In kickdown mode the car hit 6,000rpm, didn't change up and dropped into limp mode in lane 3 of M6. The following Range Rover barely slowed in time to prevent driving through us. I will never drive this car again.
