MG6 hatchback (2010-2016) - Practicality & boot space
The MG6's cavernous boot is perfect for carrying large loads
The seats in the car are comfortable and there's enough storage space around the cabin to store most of the usual items you want to have at hand in the car. Rear visibility isn't great thanks to a small rear window that's slanted at quite an acute angle.
MG6 boot space
The MG6 has a very large boot for a car in its class. At 458 litres, it easily trumps rivals like the Vauxhall Astra and Volkswagen Golf which have between 350-380 litres of space. Interior space is good for passengers, too, although tall people sitting in the rear may find headroom slightly restricted by the sloping roof. Legroom is good and the MG6 generally feels pretty spacious, especially given its billing as a compact family hatchback.
It’s worth mentioning that the quality of materials found in the cabin has been improved compared to the previous model but most rivals like the SEAT Leon and Skoda Octavia are still ahead in this department.
