Superb value car. So far no problems at all. Paint and body alignment is superb for a car in this price range. Interior build quality is also great and the huge, opening, panoramic roof is wonderful. Running costs are approximately 10% of my previous petrol car with charging on a night time tariff! The range has always exceeded the 163-mile quoted range in my case as well. The MPG figure is a cost equivalent based on my petrol vs electricity costs.

After the first day of receiving an EV with a faulty charger to the third day of the car not charging, and after 7 hrs at a chargepoint - the AA towed us the rest of our journey. The car was taken to Swindon to be fixed. We didn't bother picking it up and we are getting a refund. In my estimation with only a 40 odd KW battery and such reliability, this is not a good bargain at £24000.

I have now covered a little over 3600 miles, but unfortunately it is not a well-built car. It has suffered with many electrical gremlins (presently the windows and door mirrors have stopped working). The rear suspension is very bouncy which makes this car very tiresome on any long journeys. The lack of tinted windows make this car particularly horrible to travel in during hot sunny days. My car now has quite a lot of rust showing through, this does not bode well for a car in the UK, particularly one which is still under a year old. The dealership is not the best either, therefore I could not recommend an MG to any one and would advise extreme caution.

A big electric vehicle at an affordable price (for new). Not the greatest range but plenty of space and realistically you’ll need to stop for a break about the same time the car needs a charge. Lots of features on the top spec car for the price.

You accept that this car has been built to a price and it has softish suspension so the handling is not sporty. So once that is accepted it works well. Some initial software issues have been fixed and it is now much improved. The real range is 150 miles on A-roads and motorways in summer and at touring speeds 45/50 mph close on 200 miles. It is comfortable and roomy and very cheap to run.

The range is a fantasy. I struggle to get close to 100 miles of motorway driving from a full charge, so a long trip is four stops waiting for hours. Even around town driving with no heating or air con - I struggle to get 100 miles. The constant beeping, whenever you stop or start the car, even when a passenger leaves the car - it’s beyond annoying. The auto braking slams the anchors on for no reason - people nearly going into the back of you. The sat nav is useless. Takes ages. The screen constantly freezes, then goes black. The horn beeps constantly. People giving you dirty looks as they think you are pressing the horn as they walk past. You never get a charger to work at more than 22kwh so quick charging is impossible. The worst is the service centres. I’ve taken my car in twice for so many faults, they plug it in and tell you all is ok and there are no faults! Useless. The car is slamming its brakes on when there is nothing in front of it. Even driving like a nun never going past 20 on the rev counter thingy you never get more than 3kwh.
What's the one thing you like most about your car?
Good space for a family
If you could improve one thing, what would it be?
The constant horn beeping. Taking 5 minutes to get the sat nav to work.
