Car deal of the week: Peugeot 207 CC
Enjoy the sun this summer by saving £1,500 on the price of a Peugeot 207 CC Active
For this week’s Deal of the Week, why not make the most of summer and take advantage of an unbeatable deal on the Peugeot 207 CC Active convertible.
The French firm is offering a healthy £1,200 off the 207 CC Active with the 120bhp 1.6-litre VTi petrol engine. For just £15,595, it features USB and Bluetooth connectivity, radio/CD player, front fog lights and chrome trim. It will also manage 43.5mpg and emit just 149g/km of CO2.
The hard-top convertible features a folding metal roof and strikes a good balance between fun and comfort, particularly impressing on rough British roads. The Peugeot 207 CC feels agile around town, with its light but responsive steering making it a doddle to park. What’s more, the current 207 CC’s interior feels much improved over previous versions.
In addition to the convertible roof and responsive steering, there’s a lengthy list of equipment that comes fitted as standard. This includes air-con, electric windows, sports seats and central locking, making even the entry-level models feel top-spec. GT spec cars are also available, however, and add sporty touches like aluminum pedals, 17-inch alloys and a leather steering wheel.
Although the Peugeot 208 has replaced the 207 hatchback, the 207 CC will remain the only small convertible in Peugeot’s range for the foreseeable future – with no plans to replace it just yet.
