Ford Kuga gets new top-spec model
The new Ford Kuga Titanium X Sport has been added to the top of the SUV range
The Ford Kuga range has been updated with a new top of the range specification called Titanium X Sport.
On sale from today, the Titanium X Sport sits at the top of the model range for the Ford Kuga and costs from £28,345. Ford says that over 80 per cent of Kuga buyers opt for what were previously the top two models in the range, Titanium and Titanium X, so this new model should prove popular.
The Titanium X Sport spec gets all the equipment on the Titanium X model, including air-conditioning, sports seats, cruise control, a panoramic roof, a powered tailgate and a Sony DAB radio with MP3 and Bluetooth features.
However, it also gets a sportier exterior look including a rear spoiler, 19-inch alloy wheels, chrome roof rails and tinted windows. Other standard equipment on the Titanium X Sport model includes a rear view camera, parking assist and powered folding door mirrors.
This new model costs from £28,345 for the 148bhp 1.6-litre petrol model. You can also get it with a 2.0-litre diesel engine with 138bhp or 161bhp, or a more powerful version of the 1.6-litre petrol engine with 180bhp.
Fuel economy ranges from 37mpg in the most powerful petrol engine up to 53mpg in the 138bhp diesel. The petrol engine has emissions of 179g/km, while the more efficient diesel engine gets 139g/km.
Other specifications available for the Ford Kuga are the Zetec, Titanium, and Titanium X versions. All are available with the same two petrol and diesel engines, and the entry-level model costs from £20,995. You can read more about the range on the CarBuyer Ford Kuga specs page.
The new Ford Kuga Titanium X Sport model is available to order now, with deliveries expected from October this year.
