Skoda Enyaq in line for a major makeover in 2025
Skoda’s family EV will be updated next year with its latest ‘Modern Solid’ styling

- Coming next year
The Skoda Enyaq is in line to receive a major update next year, bringing new styling to the popular electric SUV. It will join the new Skoda Elroq as the second EV to sport the brand’s ‘Modern Solid’ design language, which is aimed to appeal to “more progressive customers”.
Key to the updated styling will be the Enyaq’s new front end. The large faux-grille will be replaced by the ‘Tech-Deck’ face, which hides the various sensors needed for the car’s safety systems. The gloss black panel will be slimmer and wider than the grille fitted to the current Enyaq and will blend into a set of LED daytime running lights at either end.
The main headlight units will sit underneath, incorporated into a revised front bumper design. The traditional bonnet emblem is expected to make way for the brand’s simple ‘Skoda’ lettering, too. Other visual changes should include new paint colours and alloy wheel designs, with all the changes applying to the Enyaq Coupe as well as the regular SUV.
“When Enyaq was introduced a couple years ago, the majority of our customers were still more traditional,” explained Skoda’s sales and marketing boss, Martin Jahn. “Now we are moving into the more progressive customers that we need for this new phase, and the new design for the car.”
Skoda has also hinted that there will be changes to the Enyaq’s interior, too, along with its battery and electric motor setup. The latter could bring an improved range – the Enyaq currently tops out at 348 miles.
The Enyaq was a home run for Skoda when it launched in 2020 and over 200,000 examples have since found their way to European owners. But competition in the EV market has ramped up over the past year, with new manufacturers from across the globe aiming to steal sales from traditional manufacturers. The Enyaq’s 2025 update should go some way to keep it at the forefront of practical electric SUVs.
The Czech brand will also expand its electric lineup with the Epiq city car in 2026, while work continues on a seven-seat EV and an electric estate car.
