Good looks. Loads of kit. Very good load space. Satnav and onstar are fairly easy to use. Excellent performance with 200ps engine. 146mph 7.2 0-60. Handling not as good as astra J model GTC. No storage in centre console by gear lever. Over all a good car

It does everything very well. Its 1.4 Turbo engine packs a usable 150ps and the six-speed auto gearbox is very smooth with fairly seemless shifting. Passenger space is brilliant front and back. Boot a healthy size around 1m wide by 1.8m long. Doesn't feel a huge car to drive, quite light and nimble for its footprint. Engine is a little coarse at higher revs and the driver seat could be more comfortable in the Elite model, plenty of adjustability but find it uncomfortable on longer journeys. Big nav screen with Android Auto works well, though half of the screen has dropped its resolution for some reason. Been a very easy car to own to this point, does everything very well, just not brilliantly. I definitely like owning it, my 15th car now and sits in my top 3.
What's the one thing you like most about your car?
Nothing stands out, does everything well enough if not exceptional.
If you could improve one thing, what would it be?
Seat comfort.

Stylish design. The 1.4-litre turbo petrol is refined and has plenty of power when fully loaded. The media electronics work well and I enjoy finding all the many features offered. Red was too bright for me so I went for granite grey.

Great looks. More than ample storage. Very good economy. Trouble free to date (2 years 10 months).

I found this car as one of my available choices of company car and thought, why not? I've had all sorts of mid range diesel powered cars previously so how about a decent quick petrol one? An estate to boot (pardon the pun). Three months in I will summarise it as follows: Handles beautifully. I point it in a direction and it goes where I tell it without complaining, even at times when I was sure I had overdcooked it. Fast, fun and sensible. In normal driving it is understated and smooth. A really comfy car to drive. Pop it in sports mode and it turns into a quick beast that makes you grin with childish glee. Spacious. It is very roomy. I had no problem getting a 9" piece of timber home entirely inside the car. With the rear seat folded it is cavernous. Controls. Good but not great. Some confusing features and less than brilliant sat-nav for picking destinations (though a million miles better than the sat-nav in a Hyundai). Features. Good but annoyingly much feels like it could have been done better. Almost like they rushed and cut a few corners. The lane assist system is hit and miss and I only use it on motorways. On small lanes it can detect the middle lane and try to send you into the ditch. The USB music player does its own thing and forgets music tracks and randomly ignores whole sections of playlists. The cruise control and distance to the car in front could have been linked if Vauxhall had only integrated the braking circuit into the system, like VW did. If they had they could have allowed the cruise control to automatically keep a set distance to the car in front and the cruise control could stick to the set speed even when going downhill. The wing mirrors don't fold in automatically. Surely motorised folding wing mirrors is not too much to ask for a car in this class. The boot lid is too heavy. So, ok, it's not a perfect car but still worth it if you like both practicality, comfort and a bit of fun. This car tries to be all things to all men on a budget and does a decent enough job of it. I've had the car for 3 months now and I'm looking forward to having it for the next three years.
