SEAT Mii electric - Interior & comfort (2020-2021)
SEAT Mii electric offers comfort and space to rival many larger and more expensive cars
If you think the SEAT Mii electric’s low price and compact size translate to cramped and low-quality interior, you’d be wrong. In common with many VW Group cars, the Mii electric excels in this area, with a clever, spacious interior layout and robust, sturdy dashboard plastics giving the feeling of a larger and more expensive car.
SEAT Mii electric dashboard
The SEAT Mii electric has a simple and well laid-out dashboard, with straightforward air-conditioning and stereo controls and bold, clear dials. A leather steering wheel of reasonable quality is now standard, adding a touch of class.
Equipment
Although the SEAT Mii electric’s basic design is around eight years old, it has been updated throughout the years, with the most recent update in mid-2018 made with the intention of making it easier for customers to choose. There are certain areas where the Mii electric lags behind, particularly in terms of its infotainment system, or lack of it - you still get just a cradle to mount your smartphone and a five-inch colour screen for the DAB radio.
The Mii electric is well-equipped as standard and is fitted with nearly all possible options. This includes 16-inch alloy wheels, tinted rear windows, metallic paint, DAB radio with SD card, USB and aux-in inputs and six speakers. Mii electric buyers will also get the SEAT Connect app for 10 years, which shows driver information and parking position, as well as other useful features such as remote control of the climate control. The latter allows pre-heating or pre-cooling of the car before you us it. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility is available with a USB cable. Safety features are strong, with Lane Assist and Traffic Sign Recognition now standard.
Options
The SEAT Mii electric has plenty of standard equipment, so there aren’t many options left to choose from. The options list kicks off with a free optional black contrasting roof with matching door mirrors. You can also order a raised boot floor, hook in the glovebox and a height adjustable passenger seat for £50. If you have to charge the Mii electric via a three-pin plug, you can order a Mode 2 charging cable for £160.
