This is a cracking little car. Great engine but slightly hampered by a vague gearshift. This a a small 1.0l 4 seat city car: If you want to transport 4 people and their luggage up and down the motorway, then you may be disappointed. 4 people and no luggage, or 3 people and lots of luggage (which we often do) it is fine. Back all this up with Toyota 5 year warranty and it's trouble free motoring. Insurance is cheap and servicing very reasonable.

Brought the car for my Wife. Collected the car on the 2nd October. Automatic. X-Clusiv . Option extras: sat nav, outshield (parking sensors etc) Toyota sent to main dealer in Wolverhampton with parking sensors in a box in the boot. so car went in today (10th October) to have them fitted. In the brochure it states rear view camera with static guides. Page 14-15 in July Brochure. No this is not true as there are no guides this is a false statement in the brochure. Phoned Toyota and they are a waste of time. £15500 on a new car with false information in the brochure. Also a very tinny sound when shutting the doors. Very basic for the exclusive. Wish my wife wanted a different car.

I bought this car second hand - it had done only 1,900 miles when I bought it. Pros are that it is a cute car, returns excellent MPG, has nice styling, a reversing camera, it's easy to park in a congested street, town or city. Cons are that if you press accelerator quickly then there is a huge delay in gear shift and that slows the vehicle which can be scary if you are at a busy roundabout. Handling is not good, the car is not good on motorways and I wish the gear shift was much better - that spoils all the driving pleasure.

Not sure if anyone else is having this problem but our brand new Aygo has a serious misting up on the windscreen issue to the point it's that bad when it's cold you have to de-ice the inside first before the outside! The car has already been back to Toyota to have a new seal fitted somewhere on the air intake due to a factory blunder when making the car but even now it's still a nightmare! This is a £13500 brand new Toyota and surely this problem should NOT be happening! Has anyone had this same issue of misting up with very bad condensation or completely icing over on the inside front windscreen? Thank you.

This is my second TOYOTA! But I'm afraid it's been an unreliable one. In over 160,000km, it's gone through three gearboxes. Plus, it has no power! You'd be better off buying a VW or Hyundai.

This is our 4th Aygo since 2007. We've had an Aygo Black (2007), Aygo Blue (2009), Aygo Go (2011) and now the new shape Aygo Xclusive (2015). My wife really likes the Aygo, she says it's great for all our needs. It's easy to park, nippy around town, does just fine for our weekly shop, even if she has to use the rear seats. Around town we get 47.52mpg, on long runs on motorways we can manage 57.60. We are so happy we'll be going back to Toyota in June or July for our 5th Aygo.

A good funky little car, however having problems with door seals which are leaking water so when you get into the car you get wet and dripped on. Toyota says there is not a problem!

This has been a useless car. It's not very old but is currently in for repair. Toyota is replacing the starter motor, battery, regulator on drivers window and the brakes as they are already corroded. Also sometimes when putting car into reverse, the camera will come on but the car is actually in 4th gear although they can't seem to find the fault!

Bought the car 4 months ago. Always had much larger cars before (X-type, C class merc). For a small city car brilliant. Used on motorway a couple of times, impressed considering the engine size. Only downside is boot space. I would recommend this as a first or second car.

The car in general is a brilliant wee car. My first car, and to begin with I was very happy with it. I have had it for 2 months and done a lot of miles in it already due to the type of job I have which includes a lot of driving. I am however having big issues with the clutch. The car is not suitable for driving up steep hills. It stalls majority of the time. Also noticed very recently that there is a funny noise when I go into reverse gear. Is anyone else having issues with hill starts?
